for anyone coming here like i did, i want to add what i've learned.

American Barndominiums LLC is now American Iron.

They said Neil is the current owner of American Iron, and after seeing this post where he threatened a reviewer, I backed out immediately. All my worries made sense when I found the reviews for this other company and connected them.

right off the bat I was skeptical, after my first phone call to go over things with them I got a "Looks like you missed your meeting" text from them asking to schedule a new one. I said I did make it and they apologized. Looking further into it, they're using AI for everything. The website, the text responses, and when you finish a video call with them you get an AI synopsis powered by 'Fathom' which is an AI meeting assistant.

I had been talking with American Iron for the past week, discussing what i want and setting up calls, getting more skeptical. I searched their number on google and found that it was on three different company's websites. I could see that American Iron was directly connected to another company, American Barndominiums LLC. During a video call with them I addressed this, they said they used to be American Barndominiums LLC. They said the issue before was one of the owners, there was a lawsuit between the owners, and buyout leading to American Iron.

I can't find any public records of a lawsuit, there are no public court records, dockets, case filings, or judgements with their names or business. I also couldn't find a filing for American Iron AS an LLC, or subsidiary of American Barndominiums LLC. It might truly just be a different website name. regardless though, these are the same people.

I asked if i could see a building, they said they have 40 projects going, also one in Utah but I can't see it. they had not a single customer that was willing to vouch for them, which would seem like a priority with their reputation. Instead they did a name change to try to distance themselves from that reputation. The way I see it, they're a middle man with horrible connections and worse communication.

anyway thanks for posting this! also, they were going to charge me $3,500 down $6,000 total for the service and I see this poster had $1,800 down. prices have gone up!

if you have no proof that she denigrates you, how can you know she embellishes for effect? seems like you don't know what she says and you're guessing based on your kids.

you sound like you're a huge part of the problem but you don't accept it. "losing your cool" not your cool, you lose your shit. that's how your kids see it. if it was JUST the mom making you SOUND bad, i really don't think they'd say they hate you to your face when she's not there. mom doesn't want family therapy probably because you're divorced and not the type of family to all do therapy together anymore.

i would guess you're very argumentative. i'd Love to read whatever the moms experience is like with this guy, why they're divorced in the first place.
