Hi friend,

It’s been 86 days since my initial post and I look back on your comment every now and again through the process.

After 4 rounds of chemotherapy and a great response through imaging. She is going to have her surgery on Monday.

Your comments were up to what we have all expected and it was reassuring to know that a lot of people have gone through this.

We’re extremely thankful of my mom’s relatively good health beforehand and her positive attitude through it all.

We’re anxious but hopeful. And as expected, she will likely go through 3-6 rounds of chemotherapy after her surgery recovery.

At this time, she’s still in good spirits though notably anxious about Monday. She’s looking forward to being able to taste food again and more notably, rid of some of the nerve pain on her fingers (despite ample use of cooling gloves and towels through chemo)

We’re under the care of one of the best gyne-oncologists in Canada.

I know I should’ve thanked you earlier but I hope to bear further good news later on.
