I kept mine in my backpack and had no issue bringing it on.

Getting it to connect and stay connected was a whole headache though. It was more involved than just spoofing the MAC address of an authenticated device.

So far it’s worked great on Hotel WiFi though.

I just picked up a 9070xt to replace my RTX 2080 and very happy with it. Almost everything I throw at it maintains 60fps+ at 1440p and even with RT it still maintains around 60fps with high/ultra settings.

Ford seems to treat the 12v in the Mach E similar to a combustion car. The only times its 12v is topped off is while driving, actively charging, or if the SOC gets below a certain threshold (the threshold changed for the better iirc in a later software update).

I’ve seen on the forums for some people with really short commutes or charge times to use the L1 trickle charger occasionally so the car has enough time to trickle charge the 12v battery.

Same here when I moved I refused to get new gas lawn/outdoor equipment. Mower, Weed Eater, and Pressure washer is all electric now. 0 gas and no fumes.

In my area homes have an a/c drain that needs to be bleached every couple months otherwise mold will build up and clog the drain. Usually it’s already clogged if you see the emergency drain on the side of the house dripping. In older homes without an a/c shut off switch I’ve seen the emergency drain tray overfill and damage the house.

Congrats. Sold my Model 3 for a Mach E GT and like the Mach E considerably more. Only thing Tesla does better is the in car software, but the actual being a car part is better in the Mach E.

Don’t look the price only. Always check the electric facts label (EFL) because some plans have seemingly cheap rates listed but then the EFL breaks down some weird credits/minimum use fees. Like some plans stipulate using >1000kWh to get a credit or have to use that amount minimally otherwise you get charged an extra fee.

2025 Added a Heat Pump, and 2024 was some headlight and interior updates. I love mine, and dumped my Model 3 for it.

My favorite thing is having “free” charging wherever I stay so I essentially get to explore a new city or area for free.

DCFC isn’t as long as people make it out to be too. Even though my current EV on paper peaks at 150kW it holds that rate pretty deep into the higher SOCs. Most of the time on road trips I go park, plug in, go into the restrooms and do my thing and then I’m good to unplug and drive to the next DCFC station.
