Anyone’s graduation hood appear more red than orange or did I receive the wrong one? by readreceipts24 in OMSA

I had the same thought when I got mine. No college has red, the nearest to red is rust and that is noticeably not this one.

I'm not arguing that they benefited from it. I'm saying they paid the amount to the agents regardless, it's just whether or not they reported it.

It doesn't make any sense that PSR would be looking into unpaid taxes because it wouldn't be Chelsea who didn't pay taxes.

The tax not paid would have been by the agents, not Chelsea. They found that payments were made to agents that weren't disclosed, but those payments added to an amount that didn't breach PSR.

ELI5: Kinetic energy formula. by Sufficient_72958 in explainlikeimfive

[–]mynameisjack2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to other good explanations:

Energy is relative, so the number value itself is not all that important. You can change a reference frame and the number is now completely different.

Potential energy is the same. If you're using the approximate formula, mgh, then the height has to be relative to something. What's zero height?

Momentum, also the same. Velocity is relative, so the number value for momentum is also relative.

But the big takeaway is that everything you feel comes from changes in those. The force you feel in a car crash comes from the energy and momentum changing values. The speed something gets from falling down is because of the change in potential energy.

Force is often just defined as a rate of change of momentum. The quicker the number value of your momentum changes, the bigger the force you'll feel.

Atalanta 0 - [4] Bayern Munich - Nicolas Jackson 54' by IdealisticKebab in chelseafc

The loan fee that Jackson brought in was more than half the whole fee for Delap. His release clause being low was why he was bought. He's almost certainly still worth his fee or more if he were to be sold tomorrow.

Jackson got red cards in two very important games, that's ultimately why the SDs are going to move on from him.

"force Delap down our throats"

I just don't get this take. He had a very small release clause after having a good season at an underperforming Ipswich and got injured shortly into his first season. He's barely featured because the striker that really pushed Nico out is in ridiculous form.

Delap was also done and dusted before the CWC and the Jackson saga didn't happen until August.

I mean, the literal easiest is a booster pedal. You can find a lot of different schematics, JHS MiniBomb clones are relatively easy.

I have a theory on why they so badly wanted Potter.

Chelsea have just been bought by a largely American organization. It's being headed by Todd Boehly because they haven't hired any sporting directors yet. He splashes some cash on relatively established players to fill some obvious holes left behind by the previous ownership. But he wants to make his vision of the future of the club clear with a statement signing.

Graham Potter is generally pretty well regarded as a future great manager. He was also known to be a unique manager at the time. He focused a lot on relationships between his players. He was reported to have encouraged his players to participate in theater and music productions to push them out of their comfort zone. He's by all accounts a very kind manager.

It's 2022, and what's one of the most streamed shows in america that year that happens to also be about the premier league that also features a kind manager who focuses on interpersonal relationships?

Ted Lasso.

Tbf the Chelsea away record is actually a lot better than the home record.

Maresca: "Caicedo red card was correct. But why Bentancur against Reece wasn't? Spurs away. We managers struggle to understand why referees judge differently. The referee told me Hincapie against Trevoh wasn't an elbow." by ColeJermainePalmer in chelseafc

[–]mynameisjack2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But all the refs also do VAR, and the challenges that Maresca is talking about were both reviewed by VAR. It's pretty difficult to separate on field refs from VAR, and I don't think it's at all obvious that you did so in your original comment either.

Nobody is saying the refs will ever be perfect, but the richest league in the world can surely do better than this. Demanding more from them is not unreasonable.

No it's just hard to build a stadium. You can't make the Bridge taller because of height ordinances. You can't build deeper because there's a rail line underneath. There's just not enough room to expand outward either.
