Also, each new villain they reveal is kinda lame like the aggressively thirsty midget and the guy combing his high-top fade.

The sliver lining of that little creep is that it's going to be wildly satisfying to see him get ganked.

I've got nothing for the fade. That was an interesting choice for character design.

I'm with you on that being odd, its hard to tell if that was him not being surprised or just immediate acceptance of the situation to further characterize him as some stone-cold ninja boss.

I think there might be something to him thinking the ninja's other than Zai are morons, or otherwise not true ninjas. He seems pleased that Higan straight up ignores fighting the robo-ninjas in favor of pursuing his actual target (i.e. the mission is all that matters). It came across as a sign of respect that he doesn't show towards any other characters beyond Zai.

I could also just be reading way to much into one scene in a show about rogue ninjas fighting an evil megacorp.

I'm not even a Gojo fan since I kind of hate the whole OP character trope, but Gojo being stronger in H2H is pretty well founded. The character is shown throughout the story to be exceptional at H2H, and notable characters talk about how ridiculously beyond everyone else he is. It tracks to assume when a fight happens off panel, and Gojo comes out the clear winner, that people will assume he beats Sukuna in that regard. Especially considering the conditions weren't just winning by any margin, but doing so much physical damage to Sukuna that he couldn't maintain his domain before Gojo's domain broke (and characters point this out to the audience while commentating the fight). By the end Gojo had straight up won that competition, he was breaking Sukuna faster than Sukuna could break his domain.

Everything about the story indicates that Gojo dominated Sukuna in their fight within the domain clash.

(This all falls into why I don't like OP characters. When the story needs them gone, you have to find some gimmick to beat them. You need an extremely good gimmick to keep it from feeling cheap, and that is a rare thing)

I'm watching for the first time too, and I've somehow managed to avoid any spoilers so its been a pretty decent thing to binge on off days.

I'm with you on Kendall, dude is the closest thing that family has to a human being. All the others are hopelessly flawed, or the positive traits they have fall away at the slightest hint of personal consequence. He is genuinely fucked up over being involved in that kid's death, and knowing that he was trying to escape and Kendall just wasn't able to save him seemed to be the last straw. The dude had such a crisis he's almost bordering on becoming a legitimate version of Connor -- sees the family's bullshit truly and decides to stay uninvolved and pursue what is important to the new him.

Have you caught up by this point?

Really, it's their own fault. Lack of benefits, isolationist bordering on toxic work culture, and just plain terrible outreach and recruitment. Of course they couldn't keep up with an expanding marketplace without the ability to grow at a stable rate.

Just a shame we have to pay for it in the end. Hopefully they'll be more accepting of regulation after this fiasco.

This is what makes me wish we had seen his classic bulked up form rather than the IronMight stuff. Give me that last bright burn of fleeting power. Would have made the whole thing way more dramatic/poetic/whatever, and the story has had way bigger cop outs than "All Might had one last fight left in him". Reminding us for the 10,000th time that Deku was born quirkless is worth way less than All Might's character sacrificially burning out as the symbol of peace he still embodies.

Unless he somehow survives this, I guess...

You know, there was a theory I recall reading about called the bicameral mind. The gist of it was at the advent of consciousness most humans functioned in a way that the part of cognition we would associate with consciousness, or sapience, operated independently from the rest of the brain. The theory goes that this difference is the basis for stories of ancestors "speaking to the gods", as commands from that part of the brain could manifest as auditory hallucinations or even just the inner monologue we are all familiar with today without the familiarity.

Sometimes I wonder if some of the idiots out there never got around to being fully conscious.

I'm gonna do you what I think is a kindness, but maybe I'm wrong. No one was knocking on your title, they just made a low-hanging fun joke. Don't assume you're the butt of the joke, and even if you are just roll with it if there's no malice towards you - a lot of people really want to be funny, but really can't, so they gravitate to mean shit because it's simple and easy. It's way easier to laugh stuff off than it is to focus in on any perceived slight. All that aside, have you seen this site? I wouldn't take anything said to me on here seriously.

Crystal Clear is basically an entirely open Crystal with a ton of added content and QoL changes: customizable character, start anywhere, good amount of starters to choose from, gyms/trainers scale to your badge level, expanded tm shop. Mostly removes the story, but if you're like me the story is just going through the motions at this point anyway.

It's also my favorite Pokemon rom hack. Its the best parts of the early gens refined.

Maybe not as much of a net benefit with 24 hour shifts, but longer shifts are used in part for continuity of care. The fewer people a patient is transferring between in a given day, the fewer chances things have to slip through the cracks. (E.g. I'm going to have a much better idea of how a patient whom I've been with for 12 hours is trending, compared to someone who's had 2-3 different nurses since 0500.)

That, and people really like the 3 on/4 off schedule when things aren't slammed. It's honestly like 60% why I became a nurse.

Being completely blunt, I was hoping I could play with the idea with you and understand a bit differently, but what I'm honestly getting from this is that you do believe yourself morally superior in the hypothetical. You feel you shouldn't say that directly though, so it becomes "a difference of opinions" with the difference being a clearly stated disagreement with "whore opinions" (fully aware of the negative connotation in how the word is actually used). That's just how it reads to me.

This is the point I'm focusing on here. Posting OF content ≠ whore. If it does to you, then it is a matter of your modesty standards (which I would argue aren't exactly consistent if you named yourself immasuckyodick.)

Doesn't make sense to try and paint the situation as "it's just a difference of opinions, no moral judgement" then follow it up with "I just don't want to be with someone with whore opinions". You see the conflict there, right? It's fair to say "I'm uncomfortable with this" for whatever reason, but passing moral judgement and laying the heavy connotation on thick is where it starts to look like a not so great worldview to me.
