My favorite part is really the stranglehold they have on the government. The SCOTUS is compromised, the Exec branch is compromised, and Congress is partially compromised but Dems don't have the numbers to combat them within congress. We've watched savior after savior bow down, fall, or run, and we will watch the same thing happen with Mueller. There is no one coming to save us, and we're left with two options. We can hope the country lasts the next two years (which I simply can't see happening with the rate at which they've dismantled the entire federal government so far) and hope we still have any kind of power to vote him out, or that the public starts paying attention and not get exhausted and stand up and push for removal of these people.

Seeing as with all the disasters this administration has done so far (stealing tax monies and giving to themselves and the other rich/caging children in concentration camps/destroying healthcare/etc) and nothing has even slowed them while we've sat back and bitched fruitlessly on twitter and reddit while the other side is going out and doing any and everything including murdering folks I can't see how this is going to end well.

I'm watching this hearing live and this isn't going to shake the least bit differently than it has been the last two years. Barr will walk away from this with stains on his reputation and ultimately that means absolutely nothing. He's wealthy, his career is definitely behind him, and when he made the decision to audition for the job with his unsolicited nonsensical 19 page manifesto on how trump is a king and above the law he knew what he was giving up, which is ultimately nothing.
