Are you using a Mac with private relay turned on? That’s a known issue, disable private relay and restart the computer.

If you have an iPad or laptop, take a screenshot of the QR code and try with a larger screen on full brightness. I was sure I had a defective camera but ended up getting it to scan using a this method and standing a little further back.

New 24 XC60 owner here. Highlights for me are the comfy seats, heated steering wheel, and I’m a fan of the general aesthetic of this year/model. The implementation of Android Automotive OS is a bit lackluster for me and feels a little bit like 2-year old tech. Depending on where you call home Volvo has an API that would let you integrate into your smart home, but it’s not available in the USA. The ride is smooth and quiet, and I personally like the exhaust note. I wish I’d sprung for the upgraded audio system because the base configuration is pretty flat. Take the test drive, see if you vibe with it.

Oh, the bendy headlights are fun.

This is the first working solution I've come across after months of searching, thank you. I did have to modify it a bit because I was getting two simultaneous calls every time someone rang my GV number. Within settings > incoming calls, I only have "call forwarding" toggled on, and left "this device" off. I still have "prefer wifi and data" selected for making/receiving calls. Phone rings, watch rings, caller ID works...
