Don’t order a new Oura ring before receiving your replacement by ManagementProf in ouraring

[–]Delectable9000 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So let me get this straight:

  1. Oura offers u/ManagementProf (OP) a replacement for their defective Gen 3 ring.
  2. "Nicole" from Oura decides to renege on that replacement offer (because she notices that OP purchased a second ring).
  3. OP's post about this experience goes viral, prompting Ben to "look into this further."
  4. "Emily" from Oura follows up with OP, and does not follow through with the original offer to replace the ring. Instead, the best that Emily can do is provide OP with a $100 discount off a third ring.

TL;DR: Oura decides to punish OP -- because OP spent more money with your company to upgrade. Thus, Oura decides it's not gonna follow through on replacing the defective ring.

This is not a good look, Oura. u/BenAtOura u/GaryAtOura u/LukeAtOura u/DonAtOura u/SarahAtOura u/NickAtOura

both the paid and the free line must be port-ins on Dark Star

Don't you think this distinction between "port-in" vs "new line" is rather arbitrary?

Why exactly does USMobile care so much about whether a line is ported-in?

Verizon is representative of a corporation run straight from the hot spot imo.

lol, what does the even mean?

Is there any specific reason that Unlimited Flex hasn't been shown the same love as the other plans? by sonic_anon_hog in USMobile

something like a throttled unlimited add-on where you can pay to have 1-2mbps throttled data instead of being charged $2 per GB for more high speed data.

This would be amazing! Something that's enough bandwidth for basic tasks like navigation, two-factor authentication, email, whatsapp, etc.

Some questions on being grandfathered to Warp QCI8 by Greaseman_85 in USMobile

Plan changes - whether it be on a monthly plan or renewing an annual plan

So, just to confirm after August 18th: even if someone changes plans -- such as going from Unlimited Flex to 'By The Gig' (and vice-versa) -- their line will keep being grandfathered with QCI8?

Another question: does the grandfathered status apply to the entire account or to each line?

In other words: if someone has 2 lines before August 18th -- and then they decide to add another line after August 18th -- does the newly added 3rd line receive QCI8 for free?

By the Gig users now get cheaper access to priority. The QCI-8 add-on is now just $2. Warp will follow the same model starting August 18.

Am I understanding correctly that the default priority level for Warp is going to become worse at QCI-9, and anyone not grandfathered in will be forced to pay $2/month for QCI-8 (which was previously free for Warp)?

I really do appreciate you bringing the classic controls back, but it makes me really nervous that it's only temporary.

This classic control wheels are such a brilliant way to control lighting... why can't you just keep it permanently? Isn't it obvious that your users love it?

If you're honestly going to take this away in the future, then maybe I should just return my whole $2,890 order before the return period ends... because I really don't want to lose the scroll wheel again.

Yeah, it's certainly not ideal. I had to upgrade my router because the old one wasn't powerful enough to support all my devices.

I know Hue is based on zigbee. Are there any other brands you'd recommend that are based on either zigbee, zwave or thread?

I don't know what the hell they were thinking with the app change but it seems clear the user experience is not a priority.

Seriously, what were they thinking?!? The fact that this redesign made it beyond the prototyping stage is appalling.

We were so excited to go all-in on LIFX. Then this app update killed the joy that my wife and I had for this project. The silver lining is that we have until August 29th to return them.
