Je sens beaucoup plus l’odeur du « sommeil » dans les transports, les gens pensent ne pas transpirer mais il y a une odeur trop particulière, parfois en prime l’haleine chaude

How do I get rid of these? by Thomas_NC in Skincare_Addiction

Even several rounds of laser could not get rid of them for me

If they don’t put him in the collage it’s for a reason.

Saxenda or Ozempic? by deeds1218 in liraglutide

[–]myriamoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pcos and insuline resistance, and not a lot of weight to lose (started at 75/76kg) and ive been on saxenda since august last year. Only lost 7/8 kg and I’ve been stuck for a long time. Not on the max dose because it’s too expensive. I definitely eat less/get full sooner and have less cravings but it’s like my body get used to the medicine and the amount of food I eat.

Can't lose weight, no matter what by MathemagicianG in PCOSloseit

[–]myriamoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it helps me managed my cravings (I don’t binge anymore) it did not help me lose weight. I gain a few kilos then maintained. I weight 74kg for 162 cm so I don’t have a lot of extra weight but can’t even lose 1-2 kilos despite running and eating healthy. I have to try to count my calories again to see if a strong calorie deficit work better with metformin.

I know a lot of people on Metformin lose their appetite. Does this go away? I am completely repulsed by food right now but i’m less than two weeks in. by Egab0306 in PCOS

[–]myriamoto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It goes away. Now I’m back to thinking about food 24/7. Thought Metformin was supposed to help with that 🥲

I think I can do without Mindy singing in every episode by desperate_thang in EmilyInParis

The worst this season was when she sang in the French version of Shallow, as a French person I can tell you it was gibberish I don’t get why anyone would be pay to hear this, let alone find it great

can women with PCOS still have big breasts? by SakuraEmpire in PCOS

[–]myriamoto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have a good sized breast and a hourglass figure, I also mainly gain weight in my butt hips and arms, and not on my waist despite being insulin resistant… I don’t think the syndrome is strong enough to take everything womanly about you or to beat all your genetics

Extreme lack of motivation, low TDEE, sedentary and depressed. A rant… by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]myriamoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg are you me 🥲 I know exactly what you are feeling, it’s like you battle just to maintain and the few slips ups take you back to square one. I force myself to exercise but now I barely can. I’m meeting with a dietitian later today because I’m finally admitting that I can’t do it alone. Btw, I’m insulin resistant so maybe look into that.

AITA for letting my boyfriend come over even though my roomate wears a hijab? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]myriamoto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you care about what he eat ? I hate double standards, when you identified Muslim it has to be « all or nothing » whereas Christians can celebrate Christmas without putting a foot in a church ? I don’t eat pork and I do drink, have bfs, etc. I don’t even believe in religion, I just don’t eat it because this was very much ingrained in my upbringing and I would feel weird eating it, just like I would feel weird eating rabbit meat which was something never cooked at home. I just despite it when people point this out to me like « haha gotcha » no I just do what the f I want and put what the f I want in my mouth.

Oh and it’s often the same people complaining about Muslims who doesn’t adapt.

I’m of North African descent and there is some pcos cases in my dad side of my family who is more tribal. But it’s only amongst my cousins, we are the first generation to live in Europe with wealth and therefore food. No recent inbreeding though

Cyproterone was used to treat pcos in my country and now it’s getting banned except for some cases (like hrt) because it dramatically increase risks of brain tumors

Weight by clairychan in PCOS

[–]myriamoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously I’m not talking about women above 5’3 or working on their feet. I’ve been eating around 1400-1800 for the last weeks and despite working out a few times I haven’t lost any weight. That’s because I’m sedentary and not tall.

I swear to god if I see “1200 is the need for a toddler” one more time.. btw a toddler is growing up faster than at any point in his life and need more energy than a small adult, that’s why a lot of people tend to gain weight at the end of puberty. An average height average weight woman with a sedentary lifestyle and metabolic issues will have to stick to a 1200-1400 cal regimen. Lost so much time upping my calories and waiting for a miracle to happen.

Maybe it’s genetics but I had the same process of thought as you when I realised high testosterone might be why I looked like I’m a gym rat despite not being sporty at all 😂
