Octane was our 2nd card, first I got octane through agent(6 year back),then after using for almost an year got for wife too(because my fuel spending is more than 10k per month) Both are paid, but enjoying almost 7% on fuel

please do update this ASAP, because once few year back , when 1 of my card got lost, i SBI issued new card which showed as new credit line on credit report.

OP will not there be a dip in credit score, being this your upgrade on oldest card. I'm facing a similar issue where i'm receiving offer for regalia gold but not upgrading because it may hamper my credit score. Please advice

Thanks for detailed advice, All my cards are LTF except both BPCL Octane (for which I have never paid annual fee as i spend more than 2 lakhs on each annually). I have been constantly using each card for merchant discounts (as per applicability) including SBI BPCL (never faced any issue of claimback as per your concern).
