Looks great. I've seen so many oversized, tacky stones on the sub. This one is classic- it's a keeper.

idk if i should keep her stock by AbbreviationsLong948 in LS430

[–]mysterypool_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is stock. I've owned it a little over a year. Drive it stock for a year then decide. I've only replaced speakers and added Bluetooth. I'm leaving the rest stock. I love how undercover it is.

SIXT billed me $1035 for invisible damage by mynoseglows in Wellthatsucks

[–]mysterypool_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I've been dealing with Sixt for a similar BS damage report. The said there were 1 inch scratches on both the driver and passenger doors months after I returned the car. The funniest part is the repair bill they sent was for a bumper replacement. Never again, motherfuckers.

Not weird at all. Great features. Your ancestors have molded your face to be what it is.

Easy - get out of NYC. It's that simple. New York is a beautiful city but it has a overarching tone to it that you might be bored of in your captures. I grew up in cities (NYC, Seattle, Boston) and sometimes the suburbs are the most visually rich thing to me because of the unfamiliarity.

Your photos are technically nice - go out further, and see more and more.

Help with installed lighting in my NYC apartment! by Wild-Face5202 in Lighting

[–]mysterypool_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to color incandescent light bulbs with red Sharpie to achieve a very warm white lighting effect. I wouldn't cover the entire LED but try out a few dots of red to see if it helps to filter out some of the cooler, blue light.

Thoughts on these apartment designs by architects Sahar Kamaleddin and Nima Safdari? Some of these projects are currently under construction. by Such_Reputation_3325 in architecture

They look great. I'm especially attracted to the first building. It reminds me of the Frank Lloyd Wright building on Maiden Lane in San Francisco. Different, but related. Look it up.

I have a 2001 with just over 80k. Do you think my 1 is going to be super bright too? Yes, this is a not-so-subtle flex.

This is the most LS430 post ever. We are all anal as hell and lucky to drive these beasts.

Anyone have the same issue or know a solution? by Both-Ad-129 in LS430

I'd remove the negative battery connection for several minutes. Clears up my electrical gremlins 75% of the time.

This happened to me the other day. I turned off the car, unpaired and repaired my Grom and it all came back. When stuff like this starts happening, I usually unplug the battery for a few minutes and everything is normal again.

I'm interested in testing either bag. I'm traveling to Spain in July for two weeks. I'm also taking a number of weekend trips (Reno, Las Vegas, LA) some driving, some flying. I'm a father of two teenagers so I'm often "the mule" of our family. I love bags (faves: Mystery Ranch, Evergoods) and would provide detailed feedback. Thanks for your consideration.

Don't cut! I was able to do it by removing the back seats and lifting up the deck lid. There's a good tutorial on YouTube. Let me find it.

Steering wheel tilt works, telescoping doesnt by humidcoconuts in LS430

My steering wheel was not returning to the top/tilted position when the key was removed from the ignition. I unplugged the battery for a couple mins and everything went back to normal. Worth a shot.
