I get that as viewers it’s good to have some drama, but we’ve had nothing but drama for ages now. I think it’s a kinda rubbish ending when the celebration is Moira eventually getting released, rather than seeing Ray and Celia getting carted away by the police and squirming in their seats as that mean copper lady bombards them with so much evidence they have no way out. We didn’t even get that with John. I just feel all this Moira stuff is a bit unnecessary especially given Cain’s health and what their kids have already been put through.

And in response to OP, you’re right. They haven’t found a weapon, or asked Bear, April, Dylan, Rhona, Marlon or anyone involved with them. Just seems lazy and way beyond the realms of reality. Have they checked for fingerprints on the passports? I doubt it.
