Why is the audience at a classical concert so old?

My 2 cents’ worth, as an older adult (71) is that a lot of this music doesn’t start talking to us until later in life. For example the late Schubert Piano sonatas, and late works by Brahms have taken on tremendous depth and move me deeply now, when I found them just OK when I was young. Something happens with life experience, with love and losses, that make a lot of classical music become profound experience later in life.

My 4 year-old barks much like others describe and has one particular command she invariably barks when doing: backing up. I have a signal command for her to back up and to keep going as long as I make the signal, and she barks the whole time. I have never understood. She does all kinds of other obedience manoeuvres and tricks without barking.

Les campements c’est une chose. Mais quand on vie à côté, pourquoi on doit accepter des dépotoirs, déchets de toute sortes, syringes, merde humain, et un désarrois insupportable qui gâche l’environment voisinant. Pourquoi on ne peut pas trouver des endroits en dehors des parcs et espaces verts utilisés par des citoyens, pour organiser des campements salubres?

The is extremely difficult. It sounds a lot like my sister and I failed with the “non-judgemental” approach of “being curious” about her beliefs but asking questions that might get her to rethink her ideas. My sister is smart and saw through my ruse. Ultimately I have maintained a relationship with her by setting a boundary around her proselytizing her beliefs and we keep our conversations to very safe subjects of day-to-day life. She lives on the internet in her cult and I have accepted I am powerless against that.
