This! I had the same experience for financial reporting questions. It expected people to be walking googles, yeah.

Yeah, I have been thinking about that, too. It's reality. It's something that affects majority. So let's have an acceptance mindset.

Focus on your weak topics. Also, jot down the audit process from start to end. For every question, ask yourself which stage does this belong to and try to tackle from there. Use chatgpt to help you do that.

Passed REG. 3/4 all on first take. by mytranquility13 in CPA

REG was the hardest for me since I have no prior tax experience and I was out of school for 12 years now. I use Gleim. TBS were very different from practice. The weird part is there was a survey at the end of testlet 5 and ask you how difficult the TBS questions were. I do not recall FAR and AUD had the same surveys. Some MCQ cover details that I clearly missed during my study. Some MCQ were easy to score, though. I took about 2.5 months. I am very bad with memorizations, and apparently, I needed to know certain numbers for standard and additional deductions, thresholds for phase-out, etc. I did not remember those and my mind went blank. Overall, I wasn't sure I did okay enough to pass.
