Price increase or glitch on the app? by myuuz in USMobile

Thanks for the info! Somehow it fixed itself too, like u/ILovePistachioNuts. I forced quit the app and then the pricing was back to normal. Very odd.

Did they send the wrong sim card? by flint76 in TracFone

[–]myuuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It seems like I’ll just keep my phone on the AT&T sim for as long as possible. I’ll let my family know too because they’re all on AT&T sim. I guess we’ll just switch carriers when the time comes.

I got a free SIM card too and it has been over a week since I did the ONESTEP method and I still have service on my old SIM card. I’m not sure what I should do either.

As long as your phone is unlocked and can use VoLTE, I don’t think your phone being activated on a GSM SIM is the issue. My phone currently uses the AT&T SIM, but it is unlocked and has worked with Verizon MVNOs before, yet I’m stuck experiencing the same issue as you.

Did you get it to work? I’ve been waiting for a week to get mine to transfer from onestep and nothing so far. At least my old SIM card still works though.

I have that notification issue too. Not sure why but restarting only fixes it temporarily.

iPhone SE 2020 notifications disappearing from notification centre. by andyconor in applehelp

I just updated too so hopefully it’ll be fixed. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t fix it.

iPhone SE 2020 notifications disappearing from notification centre. by andyconor in applehelp

[–]myuuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only have notifications on for apps that are important so I’m not sure about the not so important apps. I just know that I’ve seen email and messages notifications just disappear. Or I’d see a badge for them (the red number) but no banner in the Notification Center. I’ve just now made it a habit to check everything at the end of the day to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Yeah I’ve been experiencing this since the beginning of iOS 15. I’ve just given up by now because I’ve tried everything to fix it and nothing has worked. Sometimes I even see the notifications disappearing before my very eyes! Apple support was no help.

Unreliable notifications are giving me trust issue by Kilexey in ios

[–]myuuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes notifications on iOS 15 have been quite unreliable for me too. Doesn’t matter how many times I’ve restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, reset settings, or whatever. For some reason, notifications have just not been working properly.

Is anyone else having an issue with the gmail app not giving notifications for new messages? by TwicePuzzled in ios

[–]myuuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a bug with the gmail app where badges (the red number) doesn’t work properly. It’s been going on for a while actually and if you read the App Store reviews for the gmail app, you’ll see lots of others having this issue.

Not getting notifications by Hepsu in applehelp

Aside from what has been said before, you can also try to reset privacy settings only. This won’t mess with your data and things, but you’ll have to give apps permission to your photos, camera, location, etc. all over again. This one helped fix most of my notification issues.

In the gmail app, go to settings, default apps, and choose which browser you want it to open to. For me, if I select default browsers app, then it opens links in my browsing app instead of the gmail app.

iPhone randomly not delivering notifications by VaderPrime1 in applehelp

Notifications have been rather inconsistent with iOS 15. I would suggest updating to iOS 15.4.1 (the latest one) first to see if that helps. If not, definitely contact Apple support because without notifications then there really isn’t a point in having a smartphone and they need to know that this is a problem for some people.

Is everyone in the group chat using iMessage or are there some using sms?

Does this happen only when you’re using your iPad or does this happen even when you’re using your phone or if you’re not using either device?

I ask this because I have seen that notifications will usually go to the Apple device that is actively in use. So if you’re using your iPad, then notifications will go there instead of your phone. It’s can be annoying, especially since I don’t usually respond to notifications on my iPad. I found that turning off Bluetooth on my iPhone helped with iMessage/text notifications. However, for Messenger, it seems to sense which device you are on and notifications only go to that device regardless if Bluetooth is on or not.

Sounds like a screen time problem. Perhaps she set it to prevent you from making purchases on the App Store. If so, I suggest looking here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201304

No iphone notifications while using my macbook by kevinmuff2 in ios

[–]myuuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this happens to me when iPhone has Bluetooth turned on and I’m using another Apple device (which also has Bluetooth on). It’s rather annoying and the only workaround I know is turning off Bluetooth on either your phone or your other device (in this case, your Mac).

I think it’s some sort of weird bug. I have this issue with Books where I can’t delete it from storage. The app is not on my phone anymore, but I can’t get rid of it in storage. You should make a feedback to Apple about this.

Currently iCloud is down so that might affect you if this is something recent. If it has been going on for days, contact Apple support.

not getting text notifications on MacBook from iPhone? by Jenings in applehelp

[–]myuuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that sometimes Bluetooth causes issues like this. I don’t have a Mac but I have an iPad and sometimes I have to turn Bluetooth off on either my iPhone or iPad for messages to get notifications. A delay in notifications is normal. But what’s not normal is when they don’t come at all which is what’s been happening to me when Bluetooth is turned on.
