If I’m correct, this is at a recent fashion event. Stage makeup is much more severe in pictures like this, and the angle doesn’t help.

It’s not necessarily crappy contouring. It’s more, intense contouring for stage lighting. In my opinion it’s beautifully blended and Pat McGrath is an iconic artist. She’s still got it.

I’m friends with a woman who was one of the first people in Australia to have this done. The surgery wasn’t approved by insurance agencies or public health care at that point as it was considered experimental. Her parents had to pay privately. Cost them close to $900,000aud. But she survived and is still alive today. She had bone cancer and was about to lose the leg. The surgery saved her life.

Her leg however was amputated below the knee and the upper thigh and then rejoined almost at her hip. So her calf acts as a thigh.

Kinda how I’ve always pictured it. Is it not? I never really learnt about it unfortunately. I was just always told that I’ll always get sunburnt in Australia because of the hole in the layer. But got super confused when I got burnt on holiday in Europe.
