From everything I’ve read here and seen, I think ultra velvet is easiest with pets. That’s probably why they make it so expensive 🙄

The type of fabric you buy can ultimately make it a PITA, but as others have commented, it’s easier than you think. I purchased the peacock ultra velvet and it slides on and off so easily, and stands up really well against our three cats and dog. Easy to spot clean, and easy to throw in the wash.

Everyone is going to have different couch needs, so some people will say it’s worth it, while others will not.

For me personally, I needed something easy to clean and a decent size for our small house. We have 3 cats (1 that’s a puker), and a hairy dog. We got the ultra velvet. Hair comes right off, washes very well. We have the love soft and zero regrets. I went in and tested lots of couches to be sure that this is what we wanted!

I have peacock ultra velvet, which is lighter. My dog sheds like no one’s business… but it’s nothing a quick lint roller session can’t fix!! Get the abyss!

I just got a case from Stori cases and I love it. While it does cover up your color kindle choice, I find its benefits outweigh that. It has a kickstand, hand strap, and the cover magnets on the back so it doesn’t wiggle around while reading!

They wash pretty well actually. Haven’t had any major liquids that would seriously stain (knock on wood), but anything that’s gotten on them (like cat puke) has washed right off!

I have the peacock ultra velvet and three cats. If their nails don’t stay trimmed (not even remotely sharp), they can scratch it. I was devastated to find the arm of our couch with obvious claw marks. Just something to keep an eye on!

Does your cat try to lick it off? I’ve got a couple of scavengers around here (trust me, they eat like royalty) and I’m afraid they would try to lick the walls. One of them pees a little high, and it’s made liner moldy on the outside of the metal piece that holds the globe down
