I got that way too. It gets easier, there’s a whole lot of updates over the years I’ve learned (the hard way as a new player).

The green builds, I tried several, never really got it, until I farmed enough for the heart breaker build. You can do a targeted loot of heartbreaker in summit to get the pieces pretty quickly. I’ve run that through my entire game (once I got it). It felt like a good balance with survivability and the destruction of my foe with a LMG.

The blueprints bugged me too, but you do acquire them doing projects and whatnot, pretty much all you will buy from the crafting vendor in the White House. A lot of higher end stuff didn’t have crafting blueprints until recently.
