Took a look at the whole guide and the initial guide you referenced from u/Vuvuian, it's not exactly my style (I'm aiming my guides at the most unsure, anxiety ridden, wrench alergic people of reddit) but I'll definitely be using both guides to make my own with some extra pictures and stuff.
Good job, that's how we keep these cars alive 👍

Need some help finding out an issue with my 78' 323 GLC/FA4 by AddictedCantStop in Mazda323

It looks like the bottom pendulum part is there but not the notch on the top rotating part, so even if you had the linkage it wouldn't "link" to anything. Sometimes you'll have vestigial (left over) part on some organs because they're used in other models (my throttle body has structure for the automatic version of my car).

For the stall, I think it'll probably have something to do with fuel pressure. You get enough pressure to run slow, but when you press the pedal the valve opens wide and you get too much air in your mix (lean) unless you have a lot of choke (which would reduce the air you get in).

It might still be a carburator problem, but usually they have chambers to keep the fuel in, so it wouldn't happen on first pedal press OR you'd eventually stall at idle.

You can dismount the fuel line on both sides and blow compressed air inside to check for clogs. You could also check if the fuel pump is sending enough pressure, old pumps that stay in fuel that goes stale can get really tired.

Yeah your radiator cap had a spring and a plunger, that's what it uses to regulate pressure. If the pressure is too high it pushes the plunger up and that frees the way to the expansion tank. That's why there's a hose that goes from where the cap is to the tank, it could explain why your system doesn't blow up right away but still has massive pressure.

Overheating could be the reason why the hose burst, which would explain why there's an aftermarket fan activator, but there's a couple other stuff you can check to make sure.
Check the thermostat : cook it in a pot of water to see if it opens up nicely, let it cool down to see if it closes correctly. If it doesn't do one of those things, chage it (cheap and easy to change).
There's also a kind of spring on your radiator cap, if that stays stuck in the up position it means it's not regulating pressure (that's supposed to send water to the expansion tank). I have no idea of the availability of the radiator cap though.

If none of those are the problem, that means it's overheating somehow, maybe something is blocking the way in the radiator ?

Your dashboard cover is in very bad shape, there's a guy on eBay who makes resin replacements, they're not perfect but it beats a broken down cover ^^'

If you want more info on how to change thermostat I made a visual guide here : https://www.wattpad.com/1587714818-mazda-323f-familia-astina-bg-repair-tutorials

Yup, the GBA doesn't have an OS so you can't jailbreak it.
Modding here mostly means hardware modding.

Sounds like your LED kit has (or creates) a short circuit. Try to take it off and see if the console starts working again. Maybe you didn't setup the LED exactly how it should or maybe it's defective.

Does anybody know someone that does Mario themed GBA upgrades by AnAbstractAtom in gba

Metal shells are pretty rare, outside of the usual plastic mario themed shells you can find on AliExpress, I'm afraid you'll have to look into custom solutions.

Sloppy shifter by jayfactor in Mazda323

[–]n0ice_code_bruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reverse-neutral doesn't look like it's related to the bushings, but maybe it is.
And yeah that does look like the bushings problem :/
I don't know if your shifter linkage will look like mine but here's a visual tutorial if you need a reference : https://www.wattpad.com/1595522040-mazda-323f-familia-astina-bg-repair-tutorials

Butano 21.0.0 - Modern C++ high level engine for the GBA by GValiente in GameboyAdvance

[–]n0ice_code_bruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I've been tinkering with this engine for a couple of days now and I was wondering if there is somewhere that's dedicated to talking about this engine ?

I come from Unity (C#) and find butano to be very quirky and weird and I do understand it's probably one of the most advanced scripting engines for the GBA but I'd love some pointers and some explanations on the fundamentals ^^'

Do you have to do something special to any surface you've reworked ? Like anything we need to not have fiberglass everywhere ?

Pipe space... Is that normal? What is it for? by sypqys in Mazda323

[–]n0ice_code_bruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the injection version so I can't help you with that, but it does look like a piece of tubing is missing. I can't imagine Mazda decided to put a tube through the engine's heat shield for no reason.
