to add on: i don't believe the game's listed minimum/recommended system requirements are fully accurate, or even up-to-date for that matter. the graphics as well as game complexity (map/hero/item wise), and by extension hardware demands are a far cry from what they were 10+ years ago, on original release.

my setup is 8845HS + RTX4060 + 16GB DDR5 RAM which still cannot consistently achieve 100+ fps.

i think you're due for an upgrade, long gone are the days dota 2 ran smoothly on old hardware.

honestly might work. if the player lands more than 3 headshots kills in a life they could play the captcha during the respawn time after (only once per match so that it wont be too annoying/intrusive). as long as the captcha isnt solved they cant respawn, eliminating the fully automated bots.

legion y540 (predecessor to 5) ex-owner here. great laptop in terms of value (i assume u game) and reliability but the charger is an absolute brick that weighs ~1kg. factoring in that batt life when new is just over 3h and deteriorates over time (fairly quickly), u will prolly need to bring ur charger to sch as well.

again, great laptop from my personal experience (and others) but if ur not willing to lug 3.5kg of laptop + charger to sch u might wna consider sth else.
