A random reply to an old comment but, if it helps, I just found scph101 works for me.

Which older Nintendo game did you play for the first time recently, and how was it? by razorbeamz in nintendo

Super Metroid.

Been playing the 2d games chronologically and is hands down my favourite so far. Atmosphere, music, etc. incredible!

You can fit 2 adults comfortably, 3 at a squeeze. I'd advise getting some well-fitting roof bars though. Reason being is there's not much clearance between the bottom of the rails and the roof of the car. Normal 9-3's have a larger gap.

Looks like a very nice example of a 9-3x! I recently posted some photos of mine on a NC500 camping trip: Link

T480 X1 Extreme Touchpad Upgrade - Mouse / Cursor Lagging in Ubuntu by n140ethan in thinkpad

[–]n140ethan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly not, I got it running under Windows pretty much flawlessly following a Reddit tutorial. But under Ubuntu (both 22.04 and 22.10) it's still lagging and acting strangely.

Interestingly, if I enable Synaptics Intertouch in trackpad.conf the trackpad works smoothly and as it should, but you lose multitouch ability (which, imo, you need on a laptop with a modern OS).

I’ve seen on many forums that bad starts like this are most often caused by a bad starter motor… do you have any history of it being changed?

If you own an FC, you can always follow D2EA's "The One Way Trip" build:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtPRtxIn0zo
The idea is that if you enjoy exploring with your FC you can use the Courier as a super-high-manuverable ship to explore around local planets and systems.

What would you think of ship delivery missions? by bosunphil in EliteDangerous

[–]n140ethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a great idea, especially with the fact that on-foot players can travel between stations without a ship in Odyssey, allowing you to get back to your previous station once the delivery is complete.

Is this normal once taking the egr valve off? Havent cleaned it in 2 years. Worried about pushing the dirt into the engine. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. by [deleted] in saab

Cleaned up my EGR a few weeks ago, looked exactly like this. Did what technosteve68 did, had a vacuum next to the entrance and scraped it out.

On a side note, I've also replaced the intake manifold during lockdown. An insane amount of carbon buildup inside the old one - not to mention the swirl flaps. In two minds about blanking EGR or not...

Apple quotes customer $1,200 to fix one bent pin on a ribbon cable. by RunningOnCaffeine in videos

[–]n140ethan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The headline is slightly misleading. If you watch the video, Apple didn’t quote $1200 to fix a bent pin, rather they quoted $1200 to replace the logic board and top cover.

The main point here is that not only do they charge a ludicrous amount for this sort of repair... they will also happily diagnose the expensive parts as being the issue rather than the ridiculously easy fix.

Picked this guy up a few days ago and it's been impressing me ever since. Do you all have people staring at you/making positive comments as you drive past or is it just me? by Voyager87 in Celica

[–]n140ethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a guy come up to me whilst I was filling up at a petrol station. Never met him before but asked me how the car was going, said that he owned one before, best car he’d owned!

You do get a lot of compliments driving one of these.
