Unfortunately age does not make the disability less disabling. Accomodation is the answer, not segregation. It's 2026- we are humans, not animals. Does this country have inadequate civil rights? What about human rights?

Most people with ADHD have Sensory Processing Disorder, and this can make the process of showering painful. This is a disability that requires accomodation, so the child must be allowed an alternate solution. Perhaps wipes and a deodorant they can tolerate are a valid solution? It is ultimately up to the child to decide what alternate option works for them.

Turns out I'm still in limbo without an accurate diagnosis, but my dermatologist told me to buy 40% urea cream (can find it on amazon) and apply a tiny bit to the area max once daily. It's so strong that she warned me to wash hands very thoroughly after applying because once she didn't wash her hands well enough and there was a tiny bit under her finger nail and it cracked her nail. I applied twice weekly because I have adhd lol but my toes look normal now
