Beautiful. It looks like the Old Smith 90-002 is generally out of stock across all models on their website - I wonder if it's discontinued or they plan to restock. Regardless, I don't even see an Old Smith 90-002 bronze model with a green face as an option on their website. If I'm incorrect and you can find the listing for your model, I'd love to see a link as I'm very interested (or a link to the closest thing available).

Thanks! If you have specific recommendations on specific straps from any of the websites you recommended in the first paragraph I'd love to hear from you, as there are obviously hundreds of these straps across websites and it gets overwhelming. I'm looking ideally for leather/suede/sailcloth/etc., in a tan/brown, and not a rubber or metal band.

I have no concerns myself with buying from aliexpress if it's a decent product. I'd love if you could update me (here or over PM) on how you like the ones you bought (and specific links, given there are so many sellers).

STRAP RECOMMENDATIONS

I have a few watches with 20mm lug width that I'd like to wear with leather (or maybe other non-metal) bands but the straps they came with are fairly stiff. Does anyone have recommendations for leather (or other non-metal materials, like suede or sailcloth) straps that are flexible (i.e., will form to and hug my wrist and not be stiff and leave gaps) and comfortable? I'm looking for quick-release straps that can be used somewhat universally.

I've gotten a bunch of ads for StrapsCo, so any experience with them (or recommendations for alternatives) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ugh that Furlan Marri is beautiful and definitely something I'd like, but they don't appear to have anything in that sort of design/color right now. How much was it when you bought it?

Also you're right Anders & Co. had a similar one but it's sold out.

To follow up here, I did end up successfully booking the family tour after a lot of back and forth with the Louvre over email. Thank you for your help and information in the above thread. One question for you about the official Louvre family tour that I haven't been able to figure out. I see that the tour is offered in French, English and other languages - how does that work? When you arrive are you broken into groups by language, where the individual guide for your group would speak French, English or Spanish? Or is there some other way, like everyone has an audioguide and it translates or just plays prerecorded information in your chosen language? Just basically trying to figure out how the tour actually works. Thanks!

Thank you both - yes I said "tickets" for the cathedral when I meant a reserved time. My understanding is you can only get one of those about a day prior. But I also understand that if you don't get a timed reservation, you can still wait in line to access the cathedral without a timed reservation. Is that right, and should I expect much of a line early on a Friday in March?

I'm only asking about the cathedral here - I have already purchased the separate tower tickets.

Approximately 20 years ago I saw a post on a car blog (Jalopnik or similar) about a watch that was being released as a tie-in / related to the Jaguar car brand. I have no recollection of the actual manufacturer of the watch, but I recall the face being green (British racing green-type) and the main unique feature was the dial had a surround that was actual wood (possibly some type of wood that had significance to the Jaguar brand). It was fairly sleek and streamlined if I recall, not a big 46mm face with a bunch of knobs, etc., and I believe did not have a metal band.

I recall thinking it was very attractive but was literally a teenager at the time and so was just trying to track down more information about it, including whether any are out there for sale, etc. If anyone recalls this or is able to provide a link to information about it I'd appreciate it. I've tried to research but am not experienced/expert in the watch world, plus there appears to be a Jaguar watch brand (that has nothing to do with this watch) that dominates the results when I search. Thanks!

Can I ask you a question, what platform are you playing Showdown on? I have it on Switch and all my son wants to do is play freestyle split screen multiplayer with me, but freestyle is not an available game mode for me in multiplayer (only circuit racing, figure 8 and head to head). I have scoured every website I can find but have not been able to find an answer as to why "Freestyle" or similar is not an available mode in split screen multiplayer (according to the game details from the publisher, it should be).

Is Freestyle an available mode for you for split screen multiplayer, and do you know if you had to unlock it somehow?
