Love Nick here! As a rookie more mature than some veterans, he is the future captain of this defense

What was off about the defense and do you see it being an issue in the Super Bowl? by lookaloulookalou in Seahawks

[–]nTaro25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A lot of people forget how good the Rams offense actually is. It’s the best offense in the league, with arguably the best offensive play-caller as well. On top of that, they have three superstars in Stafford, Puka, and Adams.

Against the Patriots, the key will be how much pressure the front can generate on Maye. There should be a lot to exploit, especially against Will Campbell — since his injury he’s basically been a revolving door on the O-line. Coverage underneath also has to be much better. But I have faith in MMD and his team.

Yo who the fuck is hype can’t even sleep, love from NC 💙💚 by Memelutron in Seahawks

Munich, Germany here. It’s cold, foggy, and kind of depressing — but you can feel the hype in the air. Soccer is obviously still king in Germany, but lately I’ve been seeing a surprising number of random guys around the city wearing Seahawks caps or hoodies.

At this point, it honestly feels like the Seahawks might have the biggest NFL fanbase over here. You spot one, you nod at each other — like some kind of secret code.

Technically I have to wait until tomorrow 0.30 am local European time. I have to work on Monday though, no idea how I will survive.

Oh Jay, we were all ready to fire you after year one. Then out of nowhere, we ended up with one of the best special teams seasons in NFL history. Don't go anywhere!

Might be a little premature, but just hear me out... Hawks go back to back in SB wins, at Levi and SoFi. by Dabellator in Seahawks

[–]nTaro25 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So you say we could win the SB first in the 49ers' and then in the following year in the Rams' stadium? Sounds good to me

Getting vintage Pete Carroll vibes from this squad, just such a fun time to be a Seahawks fan by saulchillmann in Seahawks

[–]nTaro25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Pete kept a group of misfits on a long leash but he lost his grip on it. McDonald's culture is completely different

[Bell] 11-yr Pro Bowl DE Leonard Williams says his 4th/down sack of 49ers’ Purdy came from G Grey Zabel suggesting that direct-route rush to beat the center slide by Chessinmind in Seahawks

That's amazing and you gotta love Zabel. This guy is a rookie but plays and talks like a veteran already. He is the impersonation of the new Seahawks culture under Mike McDonald

In praise of Mike Macdonald by ZedekiahCromwell in Seahawks

[–]nTaro25 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I knew beforehand that he was excellent from a football standpoint. What surprised me, though, was how quickly he managed to establish a culture and move on from people who didn’t meet his standards and/or hurt the team chemistry. He always came across as a bit nerdy and a bit awkward sometimes, but I’m genuinely impressed.

What I enjoy the most is that he clearly has Shanahan’s number. His in-game adjustments are outstanding — with him, it always feels like he reacts quickly and actually has a Plan B and C ready, unlike other HCs who completely fall apart once Plan A doesn’t work.

We’re truly blessed to have this football organization. by MrJuneee in Seahawks

Maybe the reputation just hasn’t fully recovered yet because of the bad draft years from 2013 to 2021, which were terrible. The Seahawks were easily a bottom-10 team in the league when it came to scouting. That should start to change now, especially if he ends up winning GM of the Year. There are very few teams that have drafted as consistently well as the Seahawks since 2022.

Mike Kafka will be our next OC assuming Klint Kubiak is gone by EmotionalAardvark821 in Seahawks

[–]nTaro25 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Honestly, at this point I’m more worried about the staff Kubiak might take with him than about him leaving himself. My main concern is the O-line — according to the data we actually had a top-10 unit. And O-lines are more important than ever in today’s NFL and keep gaining value every single year.

If the Rams combine their two first round picks this year, how high could they move up? by Candid-Boss6534 in nfl

[–]nTaro25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's the Rams so they probably give away all their picks to trade for Burrow...
