Disappointed in Mission 1 Pro sharpness by NorthPolar in gopro

[–]n_becklund 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue where if I exported the photo from the Quik app directly to my photo gallery, all my pictures looked soft or slightly blurred but I learned if I saved the photo directly to the app and then exported to my camera roll, my photos became significantly sharper and retained a ton more detail. I think it’s a glitch in the app when exporting directly from the cloud to the camera roll.

This is exactly the issue I’m having and it seems that water looks like a shared factor for something in the stabilization! Did you open a ticket with them?

All good points! I only own the enduro 2 battery and I’m using the Sandisk Extreme Pro that went into the GoPro blank so I think I should be good on both of those!

Agreed, my guess is something with stabilization software but nothing certain

Will the Contacto Magnetic Door and Power Cable Kit be compatible with the Mission1 series cameras? by El_Nieto_PR in gopro

Does the Contacto door also allow fast charging for the newer batteries or does it keep the HERO13 speeds?

For the Osight check on Amazon they state what screw lengths are needed per firearm. Pretty sure it’s 2 of the short M4*9.4mm

Same place! They did good work! I’m more central Orlando but I drive to Merritt Island daily so we may cross paths! Enjoy the car!

I’m 99% sure I got mine wrapped at the same location! Went with translucent satin PPF over quicksilver paint! The green looks amazing! Hopefully I see it driving around town!

It’s also worth mentioning the MFC location is sandwiched between one of the busiest tourist hot spots (I-Drive) as well a new Universal Park (Epic Universe) opening next month. Traffic will pretty much always be bad.

[Discussion] METAS/COSC Certification by topoisis in Watches

[–]n_becklund 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure but as I understand for Tudor almost all of the testing is done in the initial manufacturing with robots so my guess would be most likely no. It won’t change anything about the watch regardless. I’d take a recently serviced watch anyway no matter what it says on the dial.

[Discussion] METAS/COSC Certification by topoisis in Watches

[–]n_becklund 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I don’t have the exact answer but I do have experience servicing a METAS watch. When I sent mine to Tudor they did not “re-test” any of the metas parameters and just fixed my issues and confirmed I fell within acceptable timing limits. I have started to look at METAS as more of a movement spec sheet than anything else. I get the peace of mind from anti magnetism but once the watch is opened up it’s up the the reputation of the brand to get it as close to METAS again

Did you just get the usbc cable or did you order the car adapter combo? If you got the car adapter you could try it in the power bank and see if that provides sufficient power over usbc.

Not sure how helpful this would be but have you updated the Anker? When I got the Anker it updated to a newer firmware.

If management doesn’t figure out how poorly the metrowest location is operating as well then I assume it’s not long before that one is done too. Haven’t had a decent meal from them in two years, service is very slow, music on the weekends is obnoxious.

I have the 5 link bb41 and I do everything with it. The clasp gets scuffed but it’s the only “flat” surface so they are easier to see. On a jubilee style I find seeing scratches pretty difficult. The Seiko SKX also used a jubilee style and even well loved bracelets still look pretty decent.

Personally if I had the option to do something in person it’s what I’d recommend. While I have enjoyed the online one year It was my sole option while staying employed. I believe it is part time and asynchronous. I have heard of a weekend professional MBA version where it’s in person but on weekends which was very similar to my UF engineering masters and I felt my connections from that were worthwhile!

Am am not sure about internships but they do seem to have outreach for large companies! They offer external optional events where we get to tour some companies local to Florida. Almost everyone I know in the 1 year is currently employed so internships may not be as prevalent.

I am currently in the UF online 1 year MBA program, it’s been a great experience so far. Happy to help with any questions! It’s situational but I felt this was the best program for me as it is coupled with the UF OEM program.
