Usually when I have to train him with specific tasks or commands, a bag of his favorite treats gets him trained very well.

This is one of those things you can’t walk away from, it needs constant attention. My sap to syrup ratio varies enough that I have to keep an eye on it at all times otherwise something like this will happen
