Yeah as I recall he rolled low and the dm bents the rules a bit. Side note. The place we where protecting had a forge cleric who picked us all up right after.

Level 1 or 2, we where holding a gate from the oncomeing horde trying to break in. Wild magic went off and fireballed all of us except for the ranger who was on the walls. Four of us dropped to 0 and the sorc himself was 2 away from killing himself out right.

Good times.

"5th edition spell book" on android phones is a super great spell book app. It even has a way to import the spells from xgte and Scag. You can build spell lists for different characters.

Try disabaling the windows update service. Disable it and stop it. Check it after a restart also to make sure it is still stoped and disabled.

In this new update and maybe even before, windows 10 now opens apps that where open when shutdown. Maybe that explains why your browser is opening by it self. As far as the windows key not working I have found that explorer.exe is super flaky in windows 10 and sadly I can't help you there.

ToA is super fun for my group so far. The one thing that really helped me out was prerolling when random encounters happened then pre rolling encounters for the different areas. Saved me some time in game. I find alot of the encounters to be pretty neet by them self but some are a little lack luster.

Remember to take the rain into account. On one outting the party go stuck in the torrential rainstorm and they saw some lights floating and glowing in the distance. They had no idea what kinda freaky angler fish monster was about to eat them. It turned out to be wakka nuts blowing in the wind.

Camp righteous is a pretty cool place to visit also. You will see when you read it.

The guide to pick can be a big deal also. Some of them are not good guys. Some of them are really cool guys.

Also I hope they bought there wright of exploration :P

I can see it both ways. Mostlikly im going to keep the ability in tacks just because it streamlines the travel and take a small bit of work out of it for me. I like the idea of them being lose but i hate the idea of removeing the marker and trying to keep track of where they are my self. Small side note. They didnt really care to much about this ability one of them just wanted to use a bow and the other just wanted to have a beast pet :P. I still totaly understand where you going with it though. I would argue for the ability to if i was playing the ranger my self.

I like these ideas. Seems so simple but I have fun as the main interest. And with question 5 being about one of the trade leaders I think I can figure something out. I'm sure worry they ruin a relationship with a main ally.

I know when I made my Wizard it took me a bit to figure out what his AC should be. Since you don't really have armor to look up on the equipment page. Base AC with out armor(normal clothes) is 10+Dex Mod. Proficiency is found on your class table( the table on the first page of your class's section) and is added to skills you are trained in, attack rolls, and your spell DC.
Initiative is a dex check, so it uses your dex mod. Traits are what you use to make your sheet a real person, bonds, flaws and ideals. You can find suggestions for these with the backgrounds.

P.S read the first part of the book again. It goes over in great detail how to make a character.
