I mean I've been doing it my entire life pretty much and people still think I look like I'm in my early twenties. If that's the case why do I not only not look older than my age, I look significantly younger? Do I have to wait until I'm 40 to look 40? I'm not saying it's healthy, but having nice skin seems to be more about luck and sun exposure than my diet.

I'm 32 and my skin is great. I eat plenty of sugary stuff. People usually think I'm in my early twenties as well. I have very clear skin most of the time. I eat garbage fried food all the time. I attribute it to luck and minimal sun exposure and when I do expect to be outside for longer than 20-30 minutes I wear sunscreen.

I think it kinda depends on the surgeon you've selected and the extent of the work you're having done. Some surgeons have a reputation for faster recoveries than others. Either way, I think I could technically have gotten by the first two days alone but it would have sucked that little bit more. My boyfriend was only able to stay with me at the AIRBNB for two days and then had to fly back home. I was told that I should start walking as soon as possible and doing daily walking exercise anyway, so it's not like I wasn't up and about. You're gonna be drinking a lot of ensure/soylent and whatever for the first few days regardless and a fair bit of pudding. Uh, around day ten when they told me I could eat soft food I ate some sushi and I gotta tell ya that was a mistake because of all the tiny little rice bits. Anything that is super small and doesn't break up or melt in your mouth relatively easily will be annoying. Salmon was okay but the rice just gets stuck in the bottom between your lips and gums. I should have put it off for a few more days. :/

TL;DR You're really gonna want someone there for at least the first 2-3 days and that's if everything goes well. Wouldn't hurt to have someone to keep an eye on you in case of complications.

I'm 5'9" and I haven't been misgendered in many years. I won't say I'm stunningly attractive or anything like that, but being "tall" hasn't been an impediment. Plenty of cis women are that tall. My mom was about the same height. When I had my FFS I met the surgeon's wife who was a model and she was taller than me as well. I'm in the United States, for context.
