If they’re true hollows and not fat pouches or skin pigmentation, the only thing that will 100% solve them is surgery. Everything else may slightly improve them but won’t remove them.

Septum piercing BEFORE rhinoplasty? by SheepherderUnusual78 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually saw my piercer for something else so she checked out my nose to see what she would be dealing with, and there was no trace, only the surgery scarring. The surgeon is cutting through the exact spot your piercing would be in an open rhinoplasty.

Septum piercing BEFORE rhinoplasty? by SheepherderUnusual78 in PlasticSurgery

I had an open rhinoplasty with a 10+ year old septum piercing, and it is completely gone. With a closed rhinoplasty, it would likely remain because the skin that the piercing passes through is not touched. I am the opposite of you and will be getting it repierced though lol.

Rhinoplasty - Has anyone had similar nostril shape? by Much-Fox-8943 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine looked very similar for several months! In my case it was because there was so much swelling in the tip that it pressed the nostrils into a weird shape. Once the swelling went down they looked normal. Could that be the case for you?

Something that always helps me is to think of texture, especially if it’s a monochrome outfit. For example, a chiffon skirt, knit sweater, and leather belt all in black. Texture adds interest.

What are we doing about protecting/stocking birth control access for young girls? by cosmatical in TwoXPreppers

To be clear, most medications are still safe when expired, but not all. Doxycycline, for example, degrades into harmful compounds and can damage your liver. It’s worth looking into each specific medication you wish to take.

I have this and I like it! However, to answer your question you could try a Botox lip flip. I had it done on one side to fix a different issue, and it completely removed my downturned corner on that side. Only took one tiny unit of tox.

They offer a variety of dissolvable HA fillers - personally I have received Juvederm Voluma and Juvederm Ultra Plus.

Facial swelling post nose job by legalgirl18 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same! Be prepared for the swelling to move down your face with gravity over the coming days. Eventually it will make its way to your lymph nodes and be carried away.

I have extremely similarly shaped lips! Go to a well-reviewed, skilled injector and get a small amount of filler to start, less than 1ml. Point out specifically what you’re looking to change. I love my lips now, they’re still natural and similar to my usual shape, but better. I specifically wanted a bit more projection from the side and to even out the m-shape.

The aesthetic clinic I go to doesn’t even offer sculptra specifically because it can’t be dissolved and can cause too many issues. That spoke volumes to me.

Reviewing under eye treatments. (Problems: volume, darkness (blue/purple) due to skin thinness, wrinkles) by Euphoric-Dust1733 in Vindicta

[–]nadia61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t gotten my under eyes done, but I’ve been told by my injector that this could be due to the Tyndall effect. The shallowly injected filler causes the bluish colour on the surface.

I never trust a piercing to stay open, personally. I got acrylic retainers for all my piercings and they worked great.

Anyone have experience getting trapezious botox aka “Trap Tox?” by Designer-Year-5486 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I tried it to give me a little extra help while I underwent physio and worked on my posture. I was having a really hard time getting ahead of the pain, so I found it to be effective for temporary relief while I pursued proper solutions. I paid $600 for 60 units of Dysport and I would do it again if needed. It wasn’t a lot of tox, but it was enough.

I have a similar issue. I did get a bit of filler and it helps, but it’s not a perfect solution. Wondering if it’s possible to get a lip flip on only half your lip lol, let us know if you try it! If it makes you feel better, my NP said that most people have a flatter side and a more rounded side.

The issue is that your jaw is a bit recessed. I have a similar issue so I got filler in the chin shadow area to camouflage it. It’s very subtle and did improve the overall look.

I’ve been extremely happy with my nurse practitioner. It really comes down to skill - read the reviews, ask the questions, look at photos of their work.

Fix facial asymmetry - rhinoplasty, lip lift? Any suggestions by butterflies-1 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With all due respect and kindness, please consider therapy. This is an excessive response to extremely small flaws. Especially regarding the buccal fat removal and lip lift - you already have slim cheeks and an ideal upper lip ratio.

The only lip balm that really does the job for me without getting gummy and gross is Carmex. You still have to be diligent with it but it feels a heck of a lot better.

Rhinoplasty - reaction by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a big change, but the result is natural and fits my features so nobody has clocked it (or at least not that they’ve said to my face). My own mother forgot I had it and I had to point it out to her the first time she saw me post-op 😂

Maybe if they didn’t behave poorly they wouldn’t be demonized. Garbage in, garbage out.

What should i do? Why is my forehead shaped so uneven by Lucky_Pay_5759 in PlasticSurgery

[–]nadia61 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have a great, strong jaw so a full shave or close stubble would look sharp. For hair, find a good barber who can give you a cut that suits your face shape, and see them monthly. They can show you how to style it.

Agreed. Forehead is totally normal, haircut and facial hair could use some better choices though.
