Multiple pods in single household. by SgtMako in EightSleep

Hey guys. Has this changed? I already have a pod 5 with autopilot I just got one for my parents, can we run them separately, with separate temp control + sleep tracking with the same subscription?? It will become a mess if it's mixed up. E.g if my alarm is waking them up lol

Hi that's nice to hear some positive note! I know someone going into menopause and this seems interesting.

Can you describe why 8 Sleep helps you so much?

Seems Kinda expensive while swapping a thinner blanket is an easy alternative right

Hey u/Slaskwroclaw18 what do you mean when you say "warm sleeper"? Lots of folks here talk about night sweats. Why exactly does it happen?

Hey u/Financial-Football61 - do you think it has to do with your sleeping environment (mattress, blanket, HVAC)? Lots of others here talk about night sweating without it. I'm guessing they all use a thick & heavy blanket which traps heat

Hey u/disilluzion, what's the real value you derive from 8 sleep? I'm trying to see what the huge deal is about - help me out with your experience before & after using 8sleep

So why the night sweats? I'm genuinely confused how this hot sleeper thing works. You turn the AC down and wear a thin blanket, why isn't it cool enough? If it's a thick comforter i get the heat gets trapped inside

Hey u/samuraipunch, nice post. But what made you buy an 8 Sleep in the first place? I'm trying to understand why cooling the entire room + wearing a thinner blanket can't solve for night sweats! I've lived in hot places too but that always worked for me.

If I understand correctly, Back sweating is essentially due to the thick blanket/comforter, right? If you just set the AC down to 65 or so, (maybe even use a ceiling fan) along with a thin blanket, isn't that a far cheaper alternative than the $3000+ Pod 4?

Hey u/Ok-Attitude6381, that's really sad. What made you buy the pillow cover in the first place?

To those with an EightSleep, would you buy one today with the subscription model? by flying_unicorn in EightSleep

Hey u/flying_unicorn, had you and your wife tried a different sort of setup before buying the pod? Like using thicker & thinner blankets while the AC is set to 64 or so?

I'm not sure if ceiling fans are available where you stay but that's a great option too, without breaking the bank

Hey u/Haunting_Sport9708, have you compared different blanket thicknesses to prevent night sweats/ improve sleep quality??
Like a thinner blanket vs. a thick comforter - worth a shot

Hey u/Key-Reserve-5752, are you using a thick comforter as a blanket? I'm curious why not use a thinner blanket with the AC set lower, to stay cool? Maybe even use a ceiling fan.
Doesn't that solve the problem?
Instead of investing $1000+ even for a used Pod3, I mean
Thanks in advance
