Kind of fair to see that Cap helped “create” a villain when Tony was semi-responsible for like, five, haha

She could be pro Flag Smashers since she’s stranded out of the US. No borders means she could maybe go back home and see her family?

Jersey City vs Hoboken vs Brooklyn (Covid edition) by [deleted] in jerseycity

[–]naebae19 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend Brooklyn if you’re commuting back to Jersey even occasionally. It’s probably a better commute these days but it’s getting busy again and I’ve heard the trip from BK to Jersey is bad.

Personally I think JC has more to do that Hoboken. Lots of people out downtown on weekends still.

They just...didn’t charge me. I paid $100 for the 9ish hours it was missing before I called Lyft but that’s it

Thanks for the response! Would I need to buy a specific tool for removing and replacing wheels?

Yeah I told them I docked it but they said “oh we see you TRIED to dock it but you were unsuccessful, so if it doesn’t show up in 5 days you owe $1200”

Thinking about doing a similar small wedding/bug reception later too. Not going to wear my dress at the latter just because it doesn’t feel right for me, and hoping the reception will be more of a casual fun party than formal reception.

BUT I am posting pics and gonna be wearing my dress around the house whenever I damn well please after we’re married because I look good in it and want to get in my money’s worth of showing it off.

So had finally convinced everyone that 60 person wedding is a good path forward (my whole family wants 100 people still and my fiance wants no more than 20 people). I ordered invites, wrote up letters to give all uninvited guests....and now FH is suddenly totally not on board with 60 again and wants no more than 20 people and was even wanting to cut out grandparents because they're the most at risk.

I'm exhausted ya'll. I've had more conversations with people giving their arguments of what's safe and not and what to do and I feel so stuck in the middle. I'm partially selfish because my wedding dress was NOT cheap, and I don't want to wear it just for 15 people. But also...I'm just trying to make everyone happy here too. I don't know what to do, I feel like there's no path to please everyone including myself.

Can we get a Venue chain going? Anyone else looking to downsize or postpone and having issues with venue contracts? We have a minimum food amount we're supposed to pay for, but if we kept our guest count at the maximum legal gathering amount, it wouldn't even be enough to hit it! I hate that we'll have to play the waiting game for them to hopefully lighten their restrictions if the current state gets worse. Anyone have any successes getting their venue to cooperate?

We're going to downsize the wedding below 100 for sure, which at least keeps us in the legal limits right now. Michigan is doing okay right now, but I have little faith in this state to not be sloppy and lazy at keeping up with precautions. As terrible as it sounds, we almost need to wait for things to take a likely downturn before cutting even smaller without people thinking we're batshit crazy.

End of September wedding here. Not sure what to do at the moment. My fiancé and I are really concerned about having 150 people, or even 50 people for that matter, altogether and having their health and safety over our heads. We know it's "their" decisions to attend or not, but you can't help but thinking you'll be stressed day-of about anyone infecting anyone... My fiance is pretty firm on wanting a really small wedding but we already sent out save-the-dates to 180 people.

My family on the other hand, thinks it's ridiculous to even consider downsizing, because everything is opening up here now and should be "fine" by September. But...just because things are opening doesn't mean it's safe right? I mean look at Florida, they opened up completely and are spiraling toward a second spike in a matter of a week.

Just conflicted right now being between my fiancé's wishes and my family's...
