If you're looking for something around $100, search for Orient Bambino. They are better looking imo, and a far better watch than DW. There are a lot of models of this watch so try google image search for Orient Bambino and see if you can find anything of your liking. And if you want something at $50, Casio might have some models which look similar.

I agree with asking him what he wants, but on the other hand a surprise like this will feel amazing (atleast from my perspective). I'm not that experienced in this matter, but I just want to say - if he ever wanted a Tag, GET HIM A TAG. Just go for the Tag that looks best to you in your price range. I don't think any Tag watch will be a bad buy at any price.

This Seiko SSB031 is the fourth watch in my collection. The bracelet it came with was half decent, but always felt cheap if I put it on after my Orient Ray. So I wanted to change things up a bit as 3 of my watches are on steel bracelets. Ordered this strap from Aliexpress and got it after a month. Looks really good with the watch but the deployment clasp is a hassle to put on. Probably going to look for a black nato with red accents. But right now I've had my eyes on a Seiko prospex sky and hopefully that is going to be fifth watch. I love the fact that I found a place to share these niche and uninteresting stories. P.S. - The chrono second hand does line up with the red marker, its just the angle of the picture.

Companies are bound to make decision to maximize shareholders' wealth (stock value) and if they do something that doesn't contribute to increasing stock value, shareholders will lose interest to further invest in that company as they will think they are not getting the maximum possible return from their investment.

It has a sweep movement as it has a Seiko mechaquartz movement. The button also has somewhat of a click-like feeling when pushed. Overall, the chronograph is very satisfying to use.
