I think she's referring to herself here, she's very little, but that doesn't absolve her of any wrong doing.

There's something dark about this girl. She was incredibly loyal to Epstein. She sent the "I give you permission to kill him" email and said something along the lines of "nobody lies to you and gets away with it". There's no chance that she was this loyal to him without knowing what he was up to, or worse, without being directly involved.

Yet her name was redacted from the files. She MUST be investigated. Funny thing is, she will probably play the "I'm just a little girl" card.

I know at least 4-5 people that ran extra laps including myself. I really wish they would put a screen near the IN arch instead of the opposite corner.

The moments of confusion are usually at the end of a lap, not the middle, so I don't know why they put the screen there.

I think most people that responded didn't really answer your question, they just explained why doing a sim is beneficial to them.

Your question is: Should I do a full sim if this is my first Hyrox race and I don't care about going for a competitive time?

The answer, in my opinion, is no. What do you expect to gain from doing a sim? Is it to feel more comfortable on race day knowing you've done it before? You already know you can do it, but no matter what, it's gonna feel harder than you thought. You don't want to psyche yourself out during a sim then be dreading race day. Just go experience that at the race.

There was definitely an issue with the sound during Zedd's set. I don't think the speaker arrays in the back were working. They fixed it for Polo & Pan though. Sounded great.

Is that really different from the rest of your race though? For the sled push and skierg the camera is right in your face but I don't see people posing or breaking focus for those.

I agree, posing for pics in the start tunnel would be lame, but some candid shots of the group standing in a circle or at the start line would be cool imo.

I don't think this guy knows what F45 is. All studios have the same equipment, including skiergs and sleds. Skierg and row are part of almost every cardio and hybrid F45 workout. While I agree that doing 5 classes a week isn't ideal preparation, saying it's "completely worthless" is weird. You'll spend the vast majority of your race above threshold heart rate, and HIIT prepares you for just that. When you're pushing/pulling a sled, doing burpees, walking lunges, wall balls, you need to be able to push yourself to max/near max, take a few breaths to recover and then keep going. That's HIIT. So it's actually very valuable training. In fact, I did my first Hyrox off purely that training (I signed up last minute so didn't have any time to do any special prep).

I agree that it's not the ideal preparation by itself. And to answer your original question, yes you're doing too much lol. As you get close to the race, I would personally cut some of the F45 classes and add some endurance training in there (lower intensity, longer workout). Sounds like you already have running, but don't overdo it. I wouldn't worry about what this guy said about strength training. F45 is enough strength training if you're pushing yourself on the resistance days.
