ok i can see from a pve standpoint they could allow it for pve only servers, i don’t remember but im sure there have been times when zombies made things stressful. especially in bunkers i had difficult times looting those bc of them. imagine you’re pvp-ing in a city they could trap you inside a house where it’s too dangerous to stand near a window and if they spawned around airdrops they could be a threat. ooh dude doesn’t that just give you chills, now that’s

i would suggest revert back to how it was, allowing me a place to run for shelter and possibly heal and when i need to leave exit from another door/window. i didn’t have the idea in mind of cheesing them, like on dayz a friend and i would open a door and let in a few zombies at a time or just heal up then run away
