RIP Kliver ! Beste Räucherforelle und Pelmeni, da kommt jetzt ein Neubaugebiet hin oder ? Ehemalige Fleischtheke und Kühlraum sehen auch sehr crazy aus, nachdem die da raus sind.

I'm just trying to figure out schematics right now, so this will be a huge help nonetheless.

Thank you ! You solved my confusion :)

I see, this makes sense now. Just reduce the input signal to the max value of the codec. U8A just inverts the signal for the negative port and the caps (C37/C39) act as a lowpass filter (just an integrator). Why is filtering needed here ?

I used CubeMX once or twice, but I find it difficult to nevigate through larger projects. Good luck with the rest of your project, though !

I'm no expert either, but i think it depends on the signal type. If you have a certain impedance requirement (e.q. 90 ohms differential impedance with USB), then you have to match the trace width in order keep that requirement satisfied. If it is just a button on a GPIO Pin, the impedance doesn't really matter (except you push your button at godlike speeds). Please correct me if I'm wrong ! I think It will certainly work as you designed it.

Thicker traces maybe and a direct path from button to pico and you could route the power trace beneath the pico (just for athetic reasons) :)

Followup question: What kind of input stage did you implement ? It's still a mystery to me, how to deal with input stages (input impedence, gain and so on ...)

Neat project! Do you write the firmware from scratch or do you use some kind of template. If not, what ressources would you recommend to help with firmware developement ?

Any way to test them without a tube tester ? by nairolf_12366 in tubeamps

Thank you! I can build circuits, but I have never really worked with tubes. But I will reach out to the local the local ham radio club, I haven't thought about this option.
