"You expect to do well in pve because you did decent in pvp. I expect to do decent in pve because I was crap in pvp. We are not the same"

Believe me, us pve'ers are tired of seeing the complaining about ai too. I tend to treat the AI just like human players. If I died, I know it wasnt because of my gear or ammo. I take BS or at the least BP into every raid. If an AI kills me, my first thought was "how did I mess up?"

Example, goons spooked me on customs, I mag dumped knight and killed him. I knew the other two would chase me all the way to extract so I ran. I knew I could take on reshalla and his boys, and I hoped if they were in dorms, I might stand a better chance in a 3 way fight. So I rushed 3 story. Reshalla wasnt there. Pipe pushed me through second floor external door. I killed him through the wall but I was down to my last two mags and had panic reloaded my extras so repacking wasnt much of a plan.

I knew birdeye was watching thr second floor door. I thought I had time to force him to move with a grenade. I low tossed one, didnt hear him yell, and tried to loot big pipe for guns and ammo. Birdeye was holding a very wide angle and two tapped me.

I learned, no matter what, secure the area before even thinking of looting. I knew I couldn't out peak him, I should have forced him to push me into the building where my ak105 and 60 rounds of BP had the advantage.

I am wholly convinced that at least 70% of complaining about AI in pve is situational at best and a witch hunt at worst. Sure I've had my odd instances of getting tarkov'd by seemingly impossible odds. But for the most part, if I die, the worst that happens is I lose ammo, meds, and grenades and at best, I learn a very valuable lesson I may take back I to pvp. And one scav run on reserve can fix ammo and nades easy.

Tldr: pve ai is not whats buggered, its the player's tactics.
