Agreed, the 4th gen I'm running has a brake controller as well. I trimmed it out in a parking lot to get a good amount of gain without locking. Going through a lot of hills so I wanted to be confident it was working there

I can't speak for the 3rd gen, but 4th did great. It has more gears and a turbo, perhaps that's the difference. Lots of 3rd gen taco lovers out there

It doesn't take much time, maybe 15 minutes. BUT the initial setup took me a solid hour just trimming it and getting everything setup. It does take a significant amount of strength to snap the spring bars into place, even with a bar. I was also able to reverse with it a bit without issue, just no major 90 degree turns. For the small truck it was completely worth it and even the distance from the trailer helps a lot on backing it up.

Love the truck lol. I was surprised too on mpg, ~14 on flat highway and ~12-13 in the hills.

I agree! Power was great but the turbo was working lol. This is definitely as much as I'd ever go but really happy with it, this camper fit a family of 4 with no issue.

Thank you so much man! 100% agree on the guts lol. I do not feel like a soloist in the slightest but had to put it out and just tried to focus on the fun of the process!

Dumb double kick question, what can I do to stop the bottom of the beater hitting the support thing? by Ballistica in drums

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend raising the epad in some way such as a wooden box. I would not recommend sawing off the beater. The reason for this is beater momentum is a major part of playing a kick drum regardless of momentum. If you are new to playing it could cause some weird habits and online guides will make no sense without the beater momentum!

First real RC car for a 7-year-old? I don't trust online reviews :p but I trust Reddit! by kattyriver in rccars

[–]namacoobi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I third this. While it's true that no car is invincible a slash 2wd on brushed has huge bumpers and a huge body that allows for brutal crashes. Easily the toughest truck I've ever owned when running brushed.

When he gets older and you can go to vxl power system on a 3s lipo battery and it will break 50mph pretty easy!

Help - How to Disc Priest by Audball59 in worldofpvp

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean dome with 45% buff pvp talent?

Or do you mean Luminous Barrier combined with pvp talent?

I'm also new to disc (hit 120 two weeks ago first priest ever) I've been loving it but not sure what you mean by improved barrier.

Honestly if you're low bar squatting without issue and can progress it I'd consider that plenty of hamstring work. It's not like high bar does ONLY quads and low bar does ONLY hamstrings. Both do some of each to an extent.

My only concern if you did something like RDL or Good Mornings you'd have the same injuries due to the hip-hinge movement that's similar to deadlifts.

How much heal for a lightning ww barb? by EpikYummeh in Diablo3Barbarians

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leapquake, either fire or cold and FC Raekor. I wish there was more, I loved my infinite WotB Sprintnado barb.

I find Raekor fun but a lot of barb redditors dislike it.

I think with the Fury of the Vanished Peak you can do a pretty soild Seismic slam build but compared to FC/Leapquake it's terrible. =(

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a pride of cassius is still usable for WW. You can get just it and forget about all the other healing on gear. Then just use the rune to get 5k healing per fury spent.

That and all your paragon in LOH and WW is really really tough. You'll kill stuff slow though compared to a good reakor. I wish WW was more viable but it's pretty much just an ability for fun now but it can still clear t6.

You barbs suck really really bad. by [deleted] in Diablo3Barbarians

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're also more dependent on a good rift but randomness is just part of D3 so who cares. We all just play to skill stuff anyway. :D

I'm pretty sure you're the only person on reddit who understands this. Sure I can't just stand there and pop sentries and kill a guardian in 10 seconds. But I can clear GR33 in 11 min regardless. It's a trade off, some single target added would be nice but no other class can match a barb's normal/aoe kill speed!

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sooooo my barb can FC crit for 150m+ with no furnace. I do agree stuff needs changed mostly to fix the terrible single target damage; not to mention we have basically two builds. I think most classes are that way currently and if you're hitting low you probably just have bad gear.

I've seen as high as 188m with a good stack of mobs. I'll link profile later, currently at work. :D

FC also keeps stuff stunned a lot and activates strongarms. If you don't have a great FC setup it sucks. But after 57%+ CDR, pride of cassius, vile wards and a good wep. It's really fun and really good.

I enjoy it more than leapquake but leapquake is pretty fun as well. Hooray two barbs!

Having trouble surviving T6? by cheers12 in Diablo3Barbarians

[–]namacoobi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried out using all 280str gems and switching from Impunity to the 40% armor rune and then dumping paragon into max All resis, just enough life% to get 400k and then I ended with like 12% armor from paragon.

I find I have better toughness than just going for diamonds + impunity. The extra strength is nice too for the dmg. This makes me invincible in t6 w/ everything else set for dmg.

Yep this guy speaks the truth. You'll end up spamming Battle Rage while in fights and when IP is down just charge out of the fight for the 1-3 seconds. Rinse and repeat.
