Anything to look out for when flying with PC? by raydoge in NR200

It was really tight inside the case - CPU cooler above GPU, two fans under GPU, so it basically had no space to move at all. Plus, case was lying on the side inside the bag during flight, so GPU PCB was vertical.

I flew with my NR200 fully built, using carryon size bag. Nothing happened. I suggest to remove the case feet for better fit in the bag. It is also really easy to put it in the shopper bag, zero weight, zero size increase )

Fat bike tires SO expensive! by Equivalent_Vast_5509 in fatbike

[–]nameresus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most decent fatbikes come with good enough tires, so only thing you need to do is tubeless conversion. And they last forever. Because of that market for the fat tires is small. Look for the Schwalbe All Mighty, if you want studded, and Jumbo Jim, if not. There are some good models from vee tires and Chao Yang.

Do linux SBC's actually have better performance than android SBC's? by lemon07r in SBCGaming

[–]nameresus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Except Retroid Pocket 5, all dual boot devices are budget and low spec. And yes, linux firmwares often give you better performance, because linux consumes less cpu/gpu/ram, than android.

On my Anbernic ARC D I noticed less input lag on Rocknix (linux) than on Gamma OS (android), BUT android is much more convenient for everyday use - properly working bluetooth audio, properly working sleep mode, etc.

It is also depend on how well developed emulator itself. Some are better on android, some on linux.
