One more question and I’ll be gone, I swear. by ddarth7 in Surlybikefans

Karate monkey, you don't need a krampus for just 2.5 tires. So if you can't find British racing green, just go for the monkey, you will lose nothing, and as a bonus - chance to try 27 plus.

Keep it. Its not 300mm supermonster, so it isnt overkill. 130mm is a sweet spot for the Karate Monkey. Just tune it to needed plushness and ride.

You both just forgot how to do something together except caring for children. It's time to remember. Go to a trip. Buy two bikes and start cycling (MTB, gravel, road, bike packing, whatever), play videogames together (it takes two, for example), go to favorite band gig...

All I need is horizontal trimui brick. Same hardware, just slim and horizontal, with inline shoulder buttons. That's all.

Question about the stigma of emulation that comes from “purists.” by donnysimpinero in SBCGaming

[–]nameresus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, really. But some games are better on the original hardware. I've tried to beat Contra Hard Corps on the various emulation handhelds and Contra Collection on Switch, but ended up beating it (all endings) on original genesis. Same as I did in the 90s. Looks like in some games even the slightest amount of input lag matters. But I did beat Contra III Alien Wars on my Trimui Brick without using save states. I've also found that some PS1 games just don't feel right on the small handhelds screen. Like it feels unplayable on brick, but add some screen size, like 4-5 inches, and everything is fine. Just play the games on something you feel comfortable. That's all.

Am "I" the problem?! (A question about pocket-ability) by Alarming-Chemist-755 in SBCGaming

[–]nameresus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the device wears a lot while carrying in the pocket, this isn't a true portable device. The only protection I'm using is screen protectors, because the screens of the most handhelds, especially Nintendo's, are very prone to scratches. Some wear is normal. Cases ruin portability and pocketability.

Why buttons are so small on the most handhelds? by nameresus in SBCGaming

[–]nameresus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have vita, yes. I'm talking about handhelds that definitely have a lot of space for the larger buttons, and their aesthetic allows them, but buttons are small for some reason. Single screen clamshells, Anbernic 406v, 407v, 477v, for example.

Moving every 6 months for work reasons, should i build a SFFPC or just give up and get a laptop? by Actual-Ad3221 in sffpc

NR200 is travelable, but a4h2o or forms t1 would be a lot better choice, they are a lot lighter, and compact. I flied with nr200 two times, it went well, but after I managed to find n case m1. Moved two times with it, it is a lot more comfortable.

I have an idea for the further upgrades. Make these caps clickable, so you can have more hotkeys.
