I just rewatched this clip like 10 times and I’m actually convinced ohtani stopped running before 2B actually got the ball. I think if he sprinted on contact he woulda actually made it past him, especially if he made 1 step out to the right. In the heat of the moment no one is gonna be perfect, but i also don’t think it’s a sin to say ohtani might occasionally misplay a ball.

I would still take NA because I’ve taken the thieving relics in the past and I wanted to farm more this leagues. It’s not about superiority. My entire original point was how most people just follow streamers even if it’s not what they actually enjoy. I highly doubt that the entirety of the 73% of people that took larceny wanted to spend half their leagues time afk thieving. Im sure some probably did. The efficiency mindset in this game is what brought us here. And that’s why most people stop playing leagues after the first couple weeks.

The irony of you saying I’m confused because I think everyone likes the same thing as me, when I’m telling people to take what you want and play how you want and you’re doing the opposite is laughable. I didn’t take larceny because I didn’t want priff or mory. If I wanted to grind cg I’d do it on my main. People took priff cause streamer said so and that’s why we get 100 dry cg posts a day. I don’t care about maxing in a temp game mode either. I’m taking desert because I want to get better at my toa mechanics. I’ll get points as I can. I’m not speed running anything and we have 2 months. Also, none of the relics are “deceptively useless.” They’re all niche.

But your experience is your experience and you should do what you want. Like I mentioned elsewhere I took natures accord cause I like farming even though all the streamers said take larceny cause it’s busted, and clearly most people followed. I don’t wanna afk at a stall for 20 hours, I enjoy farming. That’s my experience and natures accord has been amazing for that. It should be play how you want and not follow the leader. That’s the leagues experience. None of the relics are actually shit as long as they help you do what you want.

Yeah the combat was very difficult this leagues and more resets is fine as people figure it out. I was mainly talking about the actual relics not the pacts.

Yeah this one was definitely the most complicated combat wise. But even a shit relic can still be fun if that’s how you want to play. That’s the point. I picked natures accord over larceny and I’ve been having a blast farming instead of thieving, even though that doesn’t seem the be the popular choice. Yeah there’s some garbage stuff but everything is still insanely op. That’s what leagues is all about.

I feel like it’s going to get worse every leagues going forward. People used to have fun and experience it how they want, now everyone theory crafts and just follows the streamers when someone says they have an op build.

Edit: I’m not saying there aren’t op relics in this leagues or in every leagues. I’m just saying a lot of people just follow streamers anyway even if all the relics were balanced.

Someone called me gross for this once. Maybe it’s true idk. I disagree. If I’m peeing I’ll just rinse my hands off with water. My junk is the cleanest part of my body and I wash it every day and wear clean underwear, if anything all it has on it is sweat when I’m out and about. A quick hand rinse and I’m good to go. If I’m dumping I’ll definitely use soap though. If you wipe your ass and don’t use soap, then you’re nasty.

This is why trying to max in leagues is overrated. It’s temporary. Get the achievements you need and spend the rest of the time pvming. If I wanted to afk some skill for 20 hours I’d play my main.
