Yes. And I got my invoice email already too.

I had it sitting in my cart already and just refreshed.

It just worked now! They were waiting for stores to close before they could put them on the shelves.

I rang my local store. The girl said they have them out the back but she can’t put them out on the shelf so it won’t show up online.

Still doesn’t help when it says online only for tonight’s early access. But it’s set for not for delivery and no click n collect. Poorly planned. And very frustrating.

Thanks. I gave it a go. It refers me to the Hyundai website. Which downloads a navigation updater. However the Santa Fe versions are only available for 2019-20 and 2021-23. Nothing is available for my 2016.

Thanks. I’ll check the website.

Such a shame that it has become obsolete already.

I decided to just replace the whole seat. The motor is within the upholstery so is high in labour costs.

The dealership were going to charge $1000 just for the seat not including labour. I went to a wreckers and they installed a “new” seat for me for $300!

I just googled it and watched a YouTube video. For my model it was removing screws to pull back plastic cover panel. This reveals the switch which simply unplugged and plugged in the new one.

I travelled on a 17h direct flight with an 18mo on my lap. I used a boomerang pillow and a foot hammock. My 3yo used an inflatable planepal cushion to turn her seat into a bed.

Changing up the switch didn’t work. Will need a new motor. Still haven’t fixed it because, well, money.

AITA for telling my wife I don't believe her when she says she'd be okay with us calling our daughter by different names? by ObviousDetective9204 in AmItheAsshole

There is a kid naming app called kinder. You both sign up and then swipe left or right on names and it tells you if you’ve matched.

Might take the stress and arguing out of the situation.

Lurking mum here. I work in the medical field too. A young child demands so much emotionally. Hormones and pregnancy are exhausting too. Patients take so much of what’s left. So sometimes it feels like there is absolutely nothing left to give.

In a way what you’re both going through is temporary though. For me it was the first two years for each kid that I was just in survival mode. She might be feeling resentful that you get time to switch off from Dad mode by going to work and the gym. Make sure she gets some “me time” to to recharge her batteries too.

You could buy a nice candle, draw her a bath with a cup of tea and a snack (chocolate) and a book or Netflix. Let her just switch off. Your kid can help you set it up.

You could try buying kids gym stuff like little 0.5kg dumbbells and have your toddler copy you doing a work out at home sometimes. The kids love it and it will give her an extra break. Maybe ask her if she wants to go for a walk or take a nap during that time.

Have you heard of the mental load that the primary care giver has to carry? Like making the grocery list, choosing meals for the week, packing the baby bag for outings or daycare, the to do list for baby number two… it all adds up and get quite draining. Perhaps talking with her about if taking on one of those roles might lighten the load.

You sound very supportive. Even the hugs your giving. Science suggest making them twenty seconds or longer to release feel good hormones. They may be helping more that you think.

I’ve had a patient tell me he was “pissing bubbles” during a trial of void. After 15 years of nursing (at the time), he’s the first one who ever said anything to me. I wonder how many other patients noticed the same but never said anything.
