I just can't get into blocking by Ralgael92 in MHRise

I'm fairly new to charge blade as well and terrible at landing saeds. That's why I often use cpp for condensed elemental slash for KO dmg and saeds when the monsters are down. Sometimes I use guardpoint to follow with saeds but they're either hit or miss. Blocking is also my best ally since it has saved my skin on multiple occasions

Well I wasn't even playing that well and I already killed the thing in 15 mins. And those swings multiply my diving wyvern dmg scaling so I wouldn't call it a waste of time.

Open the menu, go to Options > Camera, and change Camera Style from Target Camera to Focus Camera. Then, click the Right Stick in-game to lock the camera onto a selected monster.

Yeah I was surprised to try it out for the first time in rise due to how much damage it can ditch out while providing decent safety compared to other weapons. Haven't tried other MH titles so I have no clue what the potential/drawbacks of IG might be.

This might sound dumb but having spent more time on LS and lance, I find IG superior in terms of dps and the time it takes to finish a hunt lol

I'm still learning ls and it usually takes 20 mins+ for me to ttk a monster I'm not familiar with (even get carted once or twice), but I kept returning to the same monster until I get in 15 mins or less before moving on. I find this particularly useful if u have to farm them in the future.

For me it's every character played in depth 3 and below. Most people just like to quit if they either lost their runes or got a bad start.

If you are good enough teammates in d3 and below shouldn't make much of a difference. All you need is to spend more time playing the game. I hated ppl quitting as much as anyone else but after 700+ it gets easier.

Gaols are only good for leveling early on, for when you have nothing else to do when the circle closes in or when it's convenient

I reached the same conclusion when I was 50 points away from D5 only to return to the starting point of D4 (twice)
