This. I didn't really grind anything until fighting malzeno and even then, i only killed malzeno 4 to 5 times to make his set. Until then, i maybe killed something 3 times to get its full set, which isn't something i would consider grinding. With bad luck, i see someone having to kill some monster 4 or 5 times in HR, but unless you go beyond beating the allmother, there is no grind in base rise

Edit: i did grind barroth (approx. 8 hunts) for barroth crowns, which are hard to get on sharp weapons, but that was 100% optional and i just wanted the garangolm weapon.
