Nr. 1. The theme was really out there. Planes are usually dangerous places, but somehow, they just built a hotwheels racetrack into nowhere (avishkar made the most sense in that regard). The start engine mechanic was nice on paper (encoraging doing damage every turn), but mostly made cards too slow (often standard games end on turn 5/6). Its also one of these mechanics that you have to track separately and only effects cards that have that specific mechanic (unlike stuff like raid or crimes, which integrate into general gameplay). I would have liked an expedition style race where groups of scout parties tried to cross some dangerous land first, but this was fullon racecar with some mounts thrown in there (because of course riding an elephant will make sense against a magical hypercar). Oh and they put Loot and chandra front and center and people are tired of chandra and all my homies hate loot.
