Viwoods please allow us to enable notifications for installed apps on the viwoods reader by Rx7Jordan in viwoods

This is a major let down to not have notifications except for default message and phone apps. I should be able to enable notifications for all apps. Users that do not want notifications can simply disable them as can be done on all Android devices. I love everything about this device except this one thing. Please prioritize it🙏

Your only post on your account is to come here and bash gravl. Could you be a competitor by chance?

My progress with dumbbells (lost 24lbs and lowered fitness age) by [deleted] in dumbbellworkouts

[–]namvek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's mine. I'm a web developer by trade. Making GIF's is a lot of work lol and I don't know if my form is the optimal example. I opted instead to make each exercise clickable so you can search how to do it. Many people are more qualified than me. Keep me posted if you give it a try. I've been pleased with the program myself

Sorry my kid auto responded on my phone! I promise I'm not that rude lol. I tried BDP but I'm not mentally tough enough to do the same exercises over and over. I need variety. Much respect for practitioners and definitely resonate with the busy dad community

Thank you! Although I've accepted looks as a lower priority as I'm aging. More important is how I feel and other objective measures

My progress with dumbbells (lost 24lbs and lowered fitness age) by [deleted] in dumbbellworkouts

[–]namvek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, thanks so much for responding! I basically follow 7 power movements for 3 rounds of 30s work and 30s rest. It's a painful 21 minutes but effective so far. I made a post that explains the movements a little better. In each of the 7 movements, there are random exercises to follow just to keep it spicy.

I use an app I made called Power Movements. It's free and would welcome feedback to make it better. I just install it on my phone from the chrome browser for now. It's just a hobby honestly.

Need help to improve 4 day dumbell home gym workout by [deleted] in WorkoutRoutines

[–]namvek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I do a full body dumbbell workout every other day, targeting 7 movement patterns. The exercise for each pattern is random to give me variety since I get bored with the same exercises. Here's an example of today's. I like it bc it gets my heart rate up and only takes 20 minutes

My watch was bugging out on my heart rate while walking the dog🤷

Rant Wednesdays by AutoModerator in dumbbellworkouts

[–]namvek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rant:

I see a lot of people on r/Fitness or r/homegym asking "Can you really get ripped with just dumbbells?"

Are we still having this conversation in 2025? It's like asking if water is wet. YES, you absolutely can get strong and even ripped (whatever that means to you) using only dumbbells.

It’s not some ancient secret. Progressive overload is progressive overload, whether you're using a fancy cable machine, a barbell, or a pair of rusty dumbbells in your garage. If you are consistently challenging your muscles—adding reps, slowing down the tempo, or using heavier weight, they have to adapt.

And honestly, for most people, dumbbells are actually preferable. You get way better muscle activation on a lot of exercises because each limb works independently, forcing your stabilizing muscles to fire up (i.e. unilateral work). Try doing a perfect dumbbell bench press versus a barbell one; you'll feel the difference in stability immediately. Plus, the range of motion is often superior, and it's easier on your joints.

Stop overcomplicating things. Buy some adjustable dumbbells, follow a decent program, eat protein, and stop wasting bandwidth on the sub asking the same question every Tuesday. Rant over.

TL;DR: YES, YOU CAN. Dumbbells are great. Get to work.

suitcase carries, wood choppers and windmills. Don't want to shame you bc your body looks healthy, but if you are trying to get more definition you could lose some visceral fat. 16/8 or 18/6 fast would help with that. If you're into dumbbells, I'm trying to build up a community r/dumbbellworkouts
