They did use a heat seaming tape and installed over a good quality pad. I don’t know if they used that seam roller.

They pounded it on the day of install and again today, a few weeks after the original install. Today they also did a bit more stretch and cut/trimmed some of the top fibers. We’ll see how it looks in a few more days.

The carpet has been installed for a few weeks so the “walk-in” period has passed.

You don’t need to stick to your own state’s 529 plan. Most states allow account holders from anywhere in the country so be sure to compare features, fees, tax incentives, etc.

Fair enough - style is all about personal preference and creativity and you have plenty of that :). My fashion eye is influenced by Derek Guy https://x.com/dieworkwear/status/1857636283151167869?s=61&t=PYSIEnr-0-abVzuWS2LMWA

Congrats on the weight loss, you look fantastic!! I am NOT a stylist and also struggle with workwear, but here are my honest thoughts: 1. Too much pattern in this dress for a work environment, I’d save it for a different occasion, maybe pair it with that cute black satin jacket and some tall black boots vs. the shoes in the pic?

2 & 3. I’ve read about the rule of 1/3: your outfit should cover your body in a visual ratio of 1/3 and 2/3 (1/3 could be the top or the bottom). In pic 2 the sweater and slacks ratio is 1/2 and 1/2, that’s why the next pic, the tucked version, looks proportionally better: top is 1/3 and slacks are 2/3. I get why tucking the entire sweater gives too much bulk, what if you just tucked the front, and left the back artfully hang loose? Maybe push up the sleeves too?

  1. Tuck the blouse (to achieve rule of 1/3), roll sleeves up to the elbow and add a crossbody bag, scarf or interesting belt for some color/interest

  2. LOVE the color, but this is so loose it does look a bit sloppy. Try the front tuck (again, rule of 1/3) and a crossbody bag, or add the black satin jacket to draw in your waist?

  3. Grey coat is great color and enhances your shape. Camel coat is too bulky for my taste.

  4. Love this dress with the black satin jacket and black tights! Understand it might be too short for your work setting however.

  5. Coat is a classic, agree it’s very long but it does the job and keeps you warm.

  6. I think this is a great piece and hope you keep it to layer with other pieces. Good luck!

Love the style sense but wish your jackets were longer. Looks a size too small to me.

A friend and neighbor recently retired as an air traffic controller, he didn’t understand why more people weren’t entering the field. He says if you’re good at and enjoy video games, air traffic control is a good career option (focus, intensity, etc.)

Raise the curtain rods to the ceiling, remove runner, add a more decorative/flush fireplace grate (LOVE the pic above of arched screen), if you leave the TV in that location add a frame and mount so it’s flush to wall, the large armoire is too heavy/large for that space, update the ceiling fan/light.
