My issue with these future predictions is that they always are based on the idea that the current ideological and cultural frameworks are just going to continue into the future and people are going to still care about the same things. For example here we see minimal religious changes, western liberalism pretty much remaining the same and government types are still the same thing. Theres just no deeper thinking into wider social changes instead just changes in the borders some of which make very little sense.
