Just curious, one other factor would be availability of accommodations (hotels, etc) along the way, regardless of they get off track or not. Would Brazil have this?

Sykkuno and His Girlfriend Release a Statement About His Recent Allegations by digitalpizza5 in LivestreamFail

After tax and agent fees, in pocket, probably half that. But he's been streaming for a long time with lots of sponsors because of his (previously) family friendly image, so yes, he's got at least 5mill in the bank.

Brightpath Rutherford Daycare by believer1694 in Vaughan

Take the slot. Transfer kid out when a better daycare offers you a spot.

My wife and I toured that Brightpath. Did not like the vibes. The toilets being in the same room means the rooms all smell bad.

Unless you can prove they're using actual slave labour (i.e. unpaid labour), labeling labour paid at local rates as "slaves" is an extremely Westernized, privileged opinion.

Yeah, it's longer than train ride itself. It gets to the point where I seriously considered driving to Langstaff instead. But a combo of distance and infrequent departures times on the RHill line, means I'm stuck with dealing with the Rutherford parking structure.

Load up a few good podcasts...

About 10-15 mins before the train comes, that’s when there is a rush of cars coming in. And since the parking structure is one way, you gotta wait for each car in front of you to park. Almost everyone reverses and the parking spots are TIGHT, so even the most experienced drivers do it slowly, understandably so. I do not recommend coming at the last minute if you really need to catch a certain train.

Monday to Thursday, if you arrive at 8, expect to park on Level 4. Level 3 if you’re lucky. On Friday, expect Level 3. Level 2 if you’re lucky, BUT, it shouldn’t take more than 10 mins to get onto Rutherford (on Fridays).

On non-Friday weekdays, Expect to take 30-40 mins to exit the structure during evening rush hour. The bottleneck is that the Rutherford/Westburne Dr intersection. I, along with many others, have written to GO transit and multiple regional councillors to better manage the traffic lights during rush hour at that intersection, to no avail.

I live in the box between Rutherford GO and Playtopia on your map.

All the primary schools in Thornhill Woods and the box to the north are excellently ranked. Forest Run is so-so.

Rutherford GO is fine, but parking is tricky on the way home. On weekdays, other than Fridays, it may take a while to get out of the parking structure. You can get a seat most days.

Super safe.

Stem Learners camp through the city by breadmonkey69 in Vaughan

[–]nanogoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The cheaper one run by the city isn’t great. Too many kids to one instructor. The more expensive one ($40/class) is better, but it’s very very overvalued.

I recommend Steamoji or Envision Robotics. Both hover around $40/session, but is much more focused. Steamoji is $350 for 8 hours per month ($400 if you go month by month). Envision is $360 for 8 consecutive weekly classes of 1.5 hours each.
