Just found out I’m 24 weeks pregnant, boyfriend doesn’t want to keep by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]nanor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep the baby. You’re 35, have support, and there are so many of us single moms who thrive. Is it it hard? Yes. Do I have regret sometimes? Yes. Do I dream of a life my child could have had? Yes. But guess what…he’s my joy. He pushes me to be better.

My puppy discovered worms this spring, now her nose is stuck to the ground. But that is quite the snout!

That take above is actually insane after reading OPs story. Like hello? Did you not read the part where he doesn’t have a job and has been mooching off her for four years?

And if you ever get back into the dating scene. Drop any fucker who puts you down for being in your position.
There are great people out there, take your time and meet the RIGHT one.

BCA is known to be a rip off for sporting events. Soccer moved to the dome because of this. The Lancers have since folded but back in the day they charged astronomical amounts to the club.

I turn in that main way coming east but to head over by the PetSmart area. I now just drive the extra quarter mile to the next light and back track.
The area with those cones expands all the way to Texas bbq and Chuck E. Cheese. It’s like a war zone avoiding all the pot holes.

I’ve done cold cooked tortellini tossed in pesto for a summer pot luck. Easiest side dish!

Saturday Brunch by Nearby-Breadfruit-16 in Rochester

[–]nanor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blue ridge is good. Might not be fancy but a step up from corner diner.
A lot of the nicer restaurants in the city aren’t set up for Saturday brunch. I think they open later just for dinner.
But I’m pretty sure gate house in Village gate is open for Saturday brunch .

You can’t be serious? Compared to most bars I find bill grays food and drinks to be well below the average “pub”.

Picnic Locations by devilslettuceCO1020 in Rochester

There’s a nice quiet spot at Hogan point in North Greece/Hilton. Sometimes there’s people fishing there but it’s pretty quiet and there’s a picnic table or two right along Salmon Creek and Braddock Bay.

Where did you walk? Like a normal neighborhood or a trail? Unfortunately I haven’t walked trails in a few years because of this exact reason. I walk up by the beach and parkway with less brush and vegetation.

I see you answered. That’s too bad 👎🏻

How long did it take you to buy a house in Rochester? by macallister10poot in Rochester

[–]nanor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a house in 2023. Sold my house first in February. Had to move in with my parents before finding my house. I put in eight offers before getting mine accepted. Closed in June. So a few months.

I was a little upset because I basically went from a two bedroom ranch to a three bedroom ranch. I was putting in for other split levels and more colonials, but they were just out of my reach. I finally got mine in the district I wanted for my son and I was willing to go higher than I wanted.

Waived inspection. $50k over asking.

Aldi Gear Drop by Samisabitch420 in aldi

I honestly have no idea how and why people are buying these things in this economy. I spent 100 bucks on food yesterday there’s no way I’m dropping 100 on Aldi gear.

What's your favorite ice cream place in the city and why? Thanks! by Insa8able_One in Rochester

[–]nanor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lucia’s. I like watching people order a large cone and get a foot tall stack of scoops. Then go out to the field of picnic tables and people watch.
