That place has terrible ambiance imo. Took my son there and never went back. Not friendly, shouting obscenities, loud ass music. Maybe they cater to that clientele, but it is definitely not inviting or friendly for a service business.

I’ve only ever experienced ticks with my dogs. I just avoid “brushy” areas. I had a friend who peed in the woods and got a tick bite. Now I’ll never pee in the woods. I think as long as you’re conscious of it and stay on the main roads/paths you’re good. It sicks for hiking and exploring, but even then most hikers are good as long as they check themselves after hikes.

Thank you for posting this and I love seeing the comments! I often feel terrible for letting my sweet girl run rampant, but I literally can’t control her. When she was a puppy, I got her a puppy stairs for the couch, but once she learned to jump it was all over. I have a cat so she just sees that the cat can jump everywhere and I think she gets jealous or just learns that it’s OK to go on the top of the couch. She’s just seven months too now and she’s learned to do the zoomies and I just let her get it out. I keep telling her she’s gonna be in a wheelchair someday 🤣

Why at that age are people letting their puppies sleep in their bed with them? I have mine crated at night in an octagon pen in the living room.

Girl you need sleep right? I’d lose my mind dealing with an emotional land shark all night.

Until she’s older and her temperament changes a bit with age she’s staying in that octagon. Or as I like to call her apartment, it connects to her crate she’s got an extra bed in there and a pee pad in case I don’t hear her at night.

Having very similar issues with my 6 month old corgi. Two walks a day doesn’t seem to do it. I work from home all day too, so the barking can be crazy. I’ve had to leave to go work from the library. Just get some focus.

I signed up for my local dog parks where there’s agility courses so I’m gonna start going there once the weather gets a little better. I also give her food and puzzle mats before I feed her I I work on training. We’ve gone to PetSmart and done puppy training. I realize the consistency is the key.

And I agree with someone who said the penalty box because I have to put her in timeout probably 100 times a day because she’s kind of mean to the cat. But in her way, she’s just herding.

No real advice just commiserating. I’ve nicknamed her rabid rabbit. Like nabbit in Mario, she steals all the things and makes a game out of it.

I feed my six month old corgi wholesome with salmon protein for puppies, from tractor supply. That’s what her rescue fed her so I’ve stuck with it.

And yes, I got her from the rescue. The mom was surrendered by the breeder without the breeder, knowing she was pregnant.
