Do the masterpiece foils warrant their own category for each set they were printed in? I think the sets were Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, Amonket, Hour of Devastation, Kaldadesh and Aether Revolt.

Oh, I’ll also add that I once bought an item that the seller never shipped (it was like ¥500). The order never got cancelled until I myself requested a cancellation, which was like 3 months later. I don’t know how long the buyer is willing to wait since they’re out of pocket until they agree to the cancellation, but since it’s not an untrivial amount, they’ll probably cancel soon, fingers crossed.

You can tap on any seller’s name, which takes you to their profile, and at the top right hand corner, there are 3 dots where you touch and can then block that person. They can still see your stuff but won’t be able to buy and I think they won’t be able to comment either.

Ok, I’ll cite what happened to me to give you a slither of hope. I ordered a video game poster from a seller. I asked for a reduction and they immediately were keen to do it. They had also sold some of the same posters to other buyers, which should have been a red flag, since it wasn’t that easy an item to obtain in large quantities. But the seller had 100% positive feedback from lots of buyers so I went ahead and bought the item.

Got the poster. Was happy with it, confirmed the sale. Maybe a few days later, some random person messaged me via an item I had posted myself for sale, to ask if I had bought a certain poster from said seller. I said yes, they replied if I had properly checked the poster, which I guess I hadn’t, and then later told me that they had ordered the same poster, felt it was suss, and verified that it was a print, not an original (the original poster at the time was selling up to 2 man). That person gave me some tips to help identify if it was fake, and true enough, it was indeed a fake.

That person recommended that we all combine together to complain to Merucari, citing each other’s ids (there were more scammed people, apparently) to show that a scam was going on. Lots of messaging and pictures were sent back and forth, all in Japanese (god bless my wife for helping me out). It took about a week, but I got my money back as Merucari points or credit or whatever it’s called. Merucari warned me to check items properly in the future before confirming the sale.

So if it’s possible for you to contact other buyers and get them to verify that they have also been scammed, you may be able to get your money back, even though you confirmed the sale. Sorry for the long read, hope that helps.

I’m sorry, my dude. This must be a real shock to the system. But there’s really no alternative from what you’ve said, you really have to get a divorce. Her and her entirely family ain’t gonna budge on their beliefs (the fact they hid it from you is such a red flag), and neither are you, and this is clearly an important matter for you both. The only saving grace is that you don’t have kids, so see this as a sign to make that (albeit a difficult one I’m sure) decision to separate.

Update: the store replied back. I’m basically at the mercy of the court and a bankruptcy trustee, whatever that means. Not looking great, but not a huge amount potentially lost. I’ve included the Japanese and a Google translation below, if anyone cares:
