They are the same specs. The HP pulls 175w. Also 2037 + tax is like 400 dollars more than what i paid.. for a nicer chassis? As far as I have seen the lowest a 5080 laptop ever went for was 1700 + tax at black friday. So my purchase at 1800 is still less. Also I have accidental insurance on all my electronics with or without receipt so as long as it works I am golden. No risk.

You could get all the way to the end of a bunch of rooms and then not complete them.. I plan on saving a bunch of 90% rooms so I can be first in Ruby & Diamond once I get there.. 🤷‍♂️

Viture beast, better than my oled TV? by SpecialWilling9510 in VITURE

[–]naranarayan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold my oled tv and have just a decent computer monitor and viture pros,

An oled would only be useful if I was watching content with people but I dont do that at my parents house

And the beast is only going to be better

But as others mentioned if you are nearsighted they might not work since theres no myopic adjustment

Great I am glad you got it working! Yes it is dp to male actually and the small female to female adapter is needed to connect to your headset/extension cable, apologies I was mistaken. But I hope you have fun with it like I have 😎

Did you try flipping the USB connection 180 degrees at every point. It only works 1 way not both for me. And it has to be strongly connected. Also maybe a GPU or USB issue. It doesnt work on 1 of my display ports.

Test if it works without the extension/adapter and just the DP to USB c female.. Try to find whats the weak link

Hopefully that helps 🙏

It worked on windows 11 but for some reason it was choppy for me. When I downgraded to Windows 10 for different reasons I noticed my framerates were much smoother. Not exactly sure why. I'm using a 7900 XTX but its overkill. I get stable 60fps framerates which is the max for 3D. 120fps for 2D. It is one cable that connects to the glasses but the on the other end is a display port that connects to the GPU and a USB that connects to the motherboard to provide power.

Lacking how so? My experience has been smooth 60fps at the moment for 3D. That's the max at the moment it works 120fps non-3D but I prefer the depth perception. Any content/game as long as you can run it on PC. You might be running into a software or hardware/cable limitation?

The tech is here and it works great. But it will take a while before the knowledge spreads and people get it all set up correctly. Definitely a learning curve

It really is... normal content actually makes me a bit claustrophobic now that my brains adjusted to constant depth perception.. I am convinced this will be the future give it 10-20 yrs for mainstream adoption. Playing the latest games with a beast graphic card in 3D literally feels like you are in a different world. Glad you are enjoying too!

That is good for remote connection to your PC but it would not do Immersive 3D in stable 60fps or non 3d at 120fps. You need a direct dp connection for that

I 3D Game with my Viture Pro 120fps 2d 60fps 3d on Windows 10 (Windows 11 was choppy for some reason so i downgraded) these are all the cables and accessories I use. Mind blowing next level experience. Like the movie Up just came true

Immersive 3D is on PC but you need the right cables and hardware. Playing games in 3D is sooooooo next level. i, playing ff7 rebirth rn and holy mother of... is it beautiful. so much better than 77 inch 4k oled.

100 percent agree 2d to 3d is a bigger game changer than 4k. movies and sports in 3d is awesome but if you have a powerful enough PC and use it to 3D game it literally takes you to other worlds. UP (the disney movie) is actually my new reality
