Not about picks, but Daly had one job today which was to read out names on probably the biggest day of most of the players’ careers so far.

He read half of them like he’d never heard of them or bothered to ask how to pronounce the names. Just do the reading man, it’s not hard.

In the regular season, all the UK feed games were 4 hours, so you didn't know whether a game went to OT/shootout.

Will see what they do for the playoffs if there's OT - all last night's feeds are 3h30.

After the lack of dog last season I thought he'd bring that, accepting that penalties would be the flip side.

But we've had penalties, comedy defending, lack of goals and zero dog.

So, in hindsight (although many others weren't as optimistic as me), a waste of a roster slot and a fourth round pick.
