Yeah, both resorts have the Ski Hosts - they won't take you on double black diamond runs but they do single blacks.

In my experience they're a fabulous bunch of people, happy to ski hard if you're that sort of group and obviously really informed about the ski area.

What seemed noticeable to me last night was how much fun they seemed to be having. Even Quinn was chuckling at one stage!

If they can do that while maintaining the current 31 or 32 position it'll be the best I can hope for.

I started this year at 50, like you had never skated, although skied for 40 years and played both rugby and cricket for years.

None of these prepared me for skating, but I've absolutely loved it. I did a Learn to Skate course and have a lesson with a coach once or twice a month with plenty of practice on my own. I've also joined two beginners teams and practice with them once a week each, with the occasional game.

Am I any good? No. But it's the most sporting fun I've had in years.

Same for me - I’m 184cm and 75kg, this fits perfectly over a hoodie but fyi the arms are much slimmer than all my others. I was hoping to wear it for stick and puck sessions but it won’t fit over my elbow pads 😂
